Everyone makes a typographical error from time to time ...  I got my driver's license at the end of 10th grade when I was still 15  -- it was legal to do so in the state that I was living in at the time.

Typo....yah...okay, whatever!

The fact is the topic is about whether or not to allow ice cream trucks to sell their wares in our town.
And I for one think that we should just go ahead -- draft a resolution, put it on the agenda and let the town board take a vote --- as soon as possible.

By the time rotterdam's town board, REVITALIZE ROTTERDAM, gets around to approving or disapproving an icecream truck, it will be winter!! They seem to be famous for dragging their feet. Especially when it came to EE! TJ Hooker had to take the helm and force EE's hand. I don't know how true it is, but some folks at the donut shop said that TJ Hooker penned EE's letter of resignation.

Then she signed it and notarized it herself since she was alive and present!

I think Mr. Ding-A-Ling may think it a little strange when you come out of your aunts
house to buy ice cream in a propellar hat, striped T-shirt, and suspender shorts!

Don't forget screaming orange hair... But don't worry- when he is shacked up in his auntie's house, him and his vaseline jar are sharing an intimate moment in the basement bedroom, so the sweet music-box theme of "Zippity Doo Dah" would not be enough for him to turn his back on the tender moment he might be sharing with the right palm. But who knows, the romantic themes coming from the Good Humor Man's soundbox might be enough to make the moment more climactic and intensify the feelings of love he has for himself...

I hate these damn trucks.

I am so sick of the damn thing stopping almost literally in front of my house for several minutes while they serve swarms of kids. It would be so not a problem if they turned off that annoying music while stopped, but no they keep it blaring to drive more business while those people in homes nearby have to listen to it ridiculously loud.

This annoys the hell out of me.  (It's like a daily occurrence - some days it seems like they are parked out in front of my place for nearly 5 minutes, although usually it is shorter.)

Jack
I have a theory that those ice cream trucks can't make a living just selling ice cream... Most of their real income is from citizens like you and I who give the guy a $20 just to leave the neighborhood for a few hours.  Anything to stop that damn Jingle!  He then goes to a different neighborhood and shakes down the citizens there.

Tony Soprano could learn a lot from the 'ice cream truck extortionists.

Kids laughing and IC trucks bother me not. Idiots with loud pipes on their low riders revving to 6000RPM that do test and tunes at 10pm bug me a tad more. I have that 3 times a week. So much for the "town codes!"

it figures that GB and MM can't carry on an intelligent and civil discussion on this or any matter --- they must resort to the vulgar tactics of boorish louses.

Oh I live with both - hopefully I can put up with this for 15-20 more years, and then retire to some place either outside the state, or more likely just somewhere a little less urban.
