Are the good citizens of NY, going to just stand by and do NOTHING while on the Most Sacred of all NY Holy Places... ON THE SITE OF THE WTC (almost) Are we going to allow A Deli? A Knittery? A Camping Supply Store? An Off Track Betting Parlor? to exist on this holiest of holy ground (according to Conservatives)?
These desecrations to the memory of those lost on Sept 11th are located EVEN CLOSER TO WTC GROUND ZERO, than a proposed Mosque!!!
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE. (According to Conservatives... it's OK to place a OTB bet on the 4th race at Saratoga from Ground Zero, but it's totally unacceptable to go into a Mosque located there and PRAY!) Pretty strange Conservative Values!

Did any of these institutions fly planes through the wtc? Do any of these institutions HATE America? Hey, who knows, perhaps they will be owned and run by Muslims. Feel better now?
You are sounding ridiculous and grasping at straws now boxy!

Q: Did any of these institutions fly planes through the wtc? A: No, Neither did those building a Mosque.
Q: Do any of these institutions HATE America? A: Probably not. Neither do those building the Mosque.
(It's called Islamophobia... The unreasonable fear and loathing of anything Muslim.)

Show me the money trail. Show me the relationship between this Imam and the "Free Gaza" movement (yes, there is one). Show me why the State Department is paying for his trip to the middle east to raise the money for this.
So many more questions - but then again, it's all Bush's fault.
It's about as much Bush's fault as it is those building the Mosque... none!

Box you are assuming that everyone involved in the proposed construction of the mosque is a peace loving Muslim, as MT points out the Imam has suspicious ties to some groups in the middle east that would like nothing more than to destroy us. If the Imam is what he says then he should not object to providing evidence to where the money to build the mosque is coming from, denounce any organization that supports terrorism, and retract some of his radical statements credited to him.

I always hear Conservatives on this board Sobbing... (sniff sniff...) YOU ALWAYS BLAME BUSH! (Boo Hoo Boo hoo) The Imam in question is George Worst Bush's right hand Muslim! He's George Bush's personal Muslim, who Bush used in his official Muslim functions.
So this time it's the Right Wingers on this board that are BLAMING BUSH!
