The politics lie with the COPS and their family and friends when it came to the reval. Want to clean up the dirty p
olitics in this town?  Start with the fatcats in the Police Station. That reval was fine as was the job JM did.

Ahhhhh Jewels you must be a COP or a friend of a COP or a relative of a COP. If I was JM why on earth would he give two craps about the Town of Rotterdam and its politics. You would be very SSsurprised" to know my true identity.  But its more fun for me to keep sticking that red hot poker up all ur republican asses. TeeHee

I've been told that Peeper is definitely DM.   I really thought it could be JM because he continues to be bitter about his dismissal as Rotterdam Assessor.  Big Ego!

I don't want to believe that a woman could possibly post the statements that Peeper has on this Forum.  And further, anyone who is even considering a run for Town Clerk or hoping to be appointed would be a fool to make these statements.

And if DM ISN'T Peeper, she may want to clear her name and reputation because as limited as this Forum's membership may be in comparison to the entire Town of Rotterdam, word travels quickly when someone behaves in this manner.

Yep,  DM evil alter-ego (split personality) is peeper.  I'm told the side of Diane I knew, professional and friend, has always had this ruthless, evil political "other side".  Something I never thought her possible of until she joined this forum, but now she's made it very evident.

This Democrat loves free speech  ... is proudly and unequivocally Pro-Life across the board (opposed to abortion, death penalty, and euthanasia)
... and the last time I cried was at a sappy movie.

I am definitely FOR assisted suicide, providing it is only offered to prison inmates, across the board nationally. Offer it immediately after they get sentenced and carry it out within 20 minutes so they don't change their minds.

Actually, GAR did its job .. and rather professionally .. the fact is that the administration - Tommasone and Company  - did NOT do their required part of reviewing the work that GAR did.   I know that as of last year -- boxes of GAR's work was sitting in a store room in Town Hall where it had sat for a couple of year -- waiting for Tommasone and Company to do its job.

GAR has had a great track record in other municipalities -- the only one where the reval went wrong - was in Rotterdam.   and that is because Tommasone and Company opposed the reval and wanted it to fail .. and did NOT do their part of the work to ensure that it was successfully completed.

I ran for town board 5 years ago .. supporting the reval because it was needed .. if we had won 5 years ago, the town government would have done its part to ensure the successful completion.   Instead, Tommasone and Company basically  flushed $700,000 down the drain .. just to spite us.

On the overall subject of follow up

There should be a proceedure for follow up on all service related work

For water main install - "the area surrounding the water main 1ft from its surface shall be encased in sand". - when mains are installed or repaired by subcontractor  a town employee should be standing there with the understanding that such inspection guarentees their long term employment by saving the people of the town money

On assessment. I certainly hope the office is updating inventories as we speak so all properties can be assessed once every 6 years

Honestly their is nothing wrong with critisim

The problem comes when the critism changes to an attack

Critism to me is based on meaningful truths

So anyone who stands at the podium and critizes any elected official is ok in my eyes
