The worst mailing I have ever received.....Tonko....who talked about how he attended the Lady of Mount Carmel festa and he proceeded to congratulate the sheeple constituents on their culture and their community(as if they do it for him) and he thanked them for being so hospitable.....AS IF HE WAS A KING.....he sent this out via his constituency's cost to THEM......SAD SAD SHAM.........I wasn't even there
but he thanked me anyhow.....DORK......

But Tonko is not a DEM talking point. When he franks -he's building community-lol. He was at the festa talking up Obamacare and his support for Cap and Tax. And the sheeple loved it? Please tax us more and help remove the art before the great unwashed come to grieve their higher taxes.

When Farley does it it's a major issue for his opponent who ran the County into the dirt. What's the County deficit up to under her "leadership"? Pre-County Home. Nobody likes this junk mail but admit that everyone does it.

Benny this why the rep party is in such sorry shape. There was a time when the GOP stood for something. There was a time when we tried to do right. But now apparently as you have stated we have devolved to the dems do bad things so we will too. How about we hold our elected officials responsible? Make our party do the right thing and ban this obscene waste of tax dollars and then bash the democrats who send them?

No? Why not? Cuz it's easier to just waste $ and say the other guy does it too? This is the problem with the state and Rotterdam too no one wants tochange. All the politicians do is pander about change. Then when you get someone running for office proposing real change to the status quo they get run out of town by both parties because the secret is either party would rather a dirty player from the other team in office than a clean player fromtheir own. Electing clean players could lead to the end of "rotterdam politics" and no one wants to see that!... Except the people but we all know the elitists don't care about us.

The local GOP stood for something before they opened the door to the likes of GP and AS! THAT was buchanan's biggest mistake. Buchannan opened pandora's box when he made that move! Talk about elitists! IMHO

Only Bumble could call Parisi elitist when Parisi is running to eliminate politics as usual and Amedore is sending campaign literature at taxpayer expense... Kettle meet pot.

As far as Buchanan's biggest mistake, that would be his love affair with negative campaigns.

Mertz was the egomaniac that disrupted GOP politics.  He clearly has mental stability issues.  Ask anyone who was involved with him.  Fortunately for GP he is on Amedores team.

The Tea party is eating crumpetts while the other parties are eating $hit.  Problem is the tea party looks good to people who can't have it their way--Rep or Dem.  Tea Party is losing steam.  Mertz is a HUGE egomaniac and so is ST, GP and TB.  Keep the negative stuff up TB.  It worked so well for your G-d forsaken party.  Amedore is an embarrassment.  YOuguys better perk up soon or it will be years before you see the inside of TH again.

Tea Party is not losing steam......It's just misunderstood and everyone from all parties is trying to fit a cookie cutter over it.....the fear of the unknown
will win......

I didn't receive a mailing from Tonko recently - otherwise I would have included him in my initial remarks.   I don't care whether the politican is Democrat or Republican .. stop using taxpayer dollars to send out these mailings.

As I said in a previous remark, in my 30 years of voting - and thus receiving these mailings - only a few mailings by our later Senator, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, even came close to being worth the paper they were printed on .. and he should have used his campaign funds to mail those, too.

My wife got the same mailer, except it was in regards to OLA  .. OLQOG.  He mentioned how he came back to see how things were going.  He also mentioned in this mailer that in order to show his face at these things (which was always his ploy when he was in the Assembly) that he travels back and forth between Amsterdam and Washington D.C. weekly.  Imagine if he stayed at one or the other for an extended period of time...like a fort night.  Imagine how much money is spent and carbon dioxide (creator of global warming) is created from each of these trips.  At least he doesn't have to pay for it himself.  And who cares for the environment if HE has to follow the same rules?  We should carpool, but he can get on a plane back and forth every week?  And if he's so proud of Rotterdam and all that it is, why is it that when he mails something to my home address, he addresses it to Schenectady?

I have not decided who I will vote for in the 21st Congressional District this November -- depends on who is willing to deliver on 3 issues important to me.
