If anyone still cares about the lies of the Bush War in Iraq...

Eliza Manningham-Buller, or "M", director general of MI5.
~ "The threat posed by Saddam Hussein before the US-led invasion in 2003 was low.The invasion of Iraq, "significantly increased the terrorist threat to Britian."

~ "The toppling of Saddam allowed Osama bin Laden to gain a stronghold in Iraq and radicalized young Muslims in Britain"

(And to those that say "Bush Kept Us Safe")

~ "The invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan had radicalized parts of a generation of Muslims who saw the military actions as an "attack on Islam".

It appears that NONE of our leaders are poised at keeping us safe. There is a globalist agenda headed by the big banks and large corporations with the governments doing their bidding!!!

Again boxy.......it don't matter! Obama just happened to be the fair haired golden boy who pushed the progressive agenda through quicker!!! The reps would have done the same thing...only slower and through a different means. Perhaps not as blatantly obvious....but the results would have been the same just the same.

They ALL want the same out come.....they are just fighting for the control of it!!! Plain and simple!!

What led to the 9-11 attacks?  Clinton was in for the 8 years leading up to the attack.  As a matter of fact, if you remember, in 1993 they tried to knock down the World Trade Center with car bombs in the underground parking garage.

If the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan radicalized parts of a generation of Muslims, than it would only be fair to say the attacks on the World Trade Center mobilized the most powerful CHRISTIAN Army in the world against these radical Muslims.  I would consider Saddam and Bin Laden, and the Taliban pretty damn radical.

Funny.....obama inherits bush's administration, but bush didn't inherit clintons. That is how inept people are when it comes to American history! It is unfortunate, but people today judge their government, at all levels, on 'personal/party issues instead of policy, both past and present.

I guess the government did a great job and has accomplished the dumbing down the electorate!

You are right; Bush NEVER blamed Clinton for 9-11.  He accepted the facts of the matter and made decisions to address the problem – right or wrong.  That is called LEADERSHIP.  Unlike Obama, he continues to look in the review mirror and blame Bush more than 18 months into his presidency.  Democrats will NOT campaign on the Obama/Democrat record; they will continue to drag Bush into the campaign for the midterms.  They will not run on Health Care Reform, Stimulus, or Obama's handling of the war in Afghanistan.  The Democrats NEED George Bush to win this election, I find that sooooo funny.

FYI, the radical Muslims attacked America because we are the infidels.  Our laws are not based in the Koran.  In the eyes of the radical Muslim, the west is a Judeo-Christian civilization. Unfortunately these Muslim nut jobs don't recognize American diversity.  No matter how much the loony liberal would like them to.

Boomer - You are aware that Congress responsible for writing laws and spending?  You do recall that Democrats won both houses of Congress in 2006?  What did House and Senate Democrats do since 2006 to address the economy?  What legislation was proposed between 2006 to 2008 to address the economy while Democrats controlled Congress.

OHhhh Yeah...BLAME BUSH!

The Democrats are going to run against a guy that hasn't been in office for nearly 2 years in November!

Yes, when the White House and the Media are coordinating a "blame Bush" campaign, it does tend to make the uneducated believe it.  That's why the White House and media are doing it, so Americans don't actually look at the facts of the previous 4 years with congress under Democrat control, and 2 years of controlling the White House.

Quoted Text
Americans Disapproving Obama May Enable Republican Gains
Americans disapprove of U.S. President Barack Obama’s handling of almost every major issue and are deeply pessimistic about the nation’s direction, offering a bullish environment for Republicans in the November congressional elections.

A majority or plurality disapproves of Obama’s management of the economy, health care, the budget deficit, the overhaul of financial market regulations and the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, according to a Bloomberg National Poll conducted July 9- 12. In addition, almost 6 in 10 respondents say the war in Afghanistan is a lost cause. The Senate is scheduled to begin voting on the financial regulation bill today.

Almost two-thirds say they feel the nation is headed in the wrong direction, an even more sour assessment than in March when 58 percent felt that way. Two-thirds of independent voters are pessimistic, while just 56 percent of Democrats offer a vote of confidence.

Americas opposition to George W Bush IS the reason that the Democrats took over congress 4 years ago.
In spite of the 'party of NO', Democrats are  reversing the Bush Economic Meltdown, and other Bush disasters.

I agree with this statement.  My question is - what legislation did the House and Senate Democrats propose between 2006 and 2008 in efforts to change the direction of the so called Bush failed economic policies?  Next question - Why aren't the House and Senate Democrats running on their previous four years of legislation and voting record during these midterms?  They need to drag out Bush in order to rally their base.  The Democrats are running from their record while in power.

The Party of NO seems to be running on 'the Failed Bush Legacy'.  They have proposed no changes from the Bush years, and seem content to continue the Bush Failed policies.  Democrats are running "against" this agenda.

Democrats are running "ON" their record.
Health care reform is still new or waiting to be implemented.  As Obama Care comes on-line and Americans sees the impact & savings, the bill will be even more popular.

Democrats have passed:
Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
Unemployment Compensation Extension Act
Credit Cardholders' Bill of Rights Act
Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Act
Helping Families Save Their Homes Act
Fraud Enforcement and Recovery Act
Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act
Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program Act
FY 2010 Budget Resolution (Passed through House and Senate; not signed by President)
State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) Reauthorization
Family Smoking Prevention & Tobacco Control Act
Veterans Health Care Budget Reform and Transparency Act
Omnibus Public Lands Management Act
Weapons Acquisition System Reform Through Enhancing Tech. Knowledge & Oversight Act
National Defense Authorization Act (includes Hate Crimes Prevention Act)
Pakistan Enduring Assistance and Cooperation Enhancement Act
Enhanced Partnership with Pakistan Act
Veterans Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act
etc etc etc. too many to list here and
all done over opposition and with almost no cooperation or input from the Republicans.

And The Republican accomplishments:
They said "NO"!

Don't forget that they have also given us more debt than all the other presidents combined that we may never be able to pay along with a tax burden that will bring this country to a stand still. When health-care kicks in the Dems may also be able to take credit for people being denied medical procedures, increased cost of health-care, loss of prescription drug plans provided by companies, loss of company provided health-care plans, and a whole list of programs that aren't working so give them all the credit they deserve.
