Felons Voting Illegally May Have Put Franken Over the Top in Minnesota, Study Finds
By Ed Barnes

The six-month election recount that turned former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota's Twin Cities.

That's the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.

The final recount vote in the race, determined six months after Election Day, showed Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes -- fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted, according to Minnesota Majority's newly released study, which matched publicly available conviction lists with voting records.

Furthermore, the report charges that efforts to get state and federal authorities to act on its findings have been "stonewalled."

"We aren't trying to change the result of the last election. That legally can't be done," said Dan McGrath, Minnesota Majority's executive director. "We are just trying to make sure the integrity of the next election isn't compromised."

So... Frankens margin of victory may have been even 341 votes HIGHER if the Felons had not voted.
Right???

Can you read and comprehend at all Box, Franken won by 312 votes over Coleman so if you take 341 votes away from Franken then Coleman wins by 29 votes and that's just the ones that they have found so far there may be more illegal votes that were counted too.

And can you understand that if you take away the 341 illegal votes, that Franken may have won by an even larger margin???

It's amazing to me how Conservatives only see injustice in elections that they think they lost illegally, but see no injustice in elections that they WON ILLEGALLY (Bush 2000)

Kind of like the districts in Florida that were heavily Democratic, yet, mysteriously, they voted for GWB in 2000.  Thousands of votes uncounted or invalidated...
I remember it well... I feel your pain!

As you remember, in the 2000 Presidential election, the final difference between the two candidates was only ONE VOTE... 5-4 in-favor of Bush.

Again Box after the election your Democratic officials counted each and every vote after the election that were cast and Bush would have won anyway. If the Dems in order to win at all cost hadn't tried so hard to get votes disqualified with the hanging chad crap it would have never gone to the court.  Carruthers said Ramsey County is still investigating all the names and has asked that 15 investigators be hired to complete the process. "So far we have charged 28 people with felonies, have 17 more under review and have 182 cases still open," he said. "And there is a good chance we may match or even exceed their numbers."    This is what our great country has come to, the party that commits the most fraud, has the most corrupt officials,  intimidates the voters the most, and tells the voters anything that will get them elected even though they know it's a lie wins the election.

And as you remember Shadow...
George Worst Bush was elected by a vote of 5 to 4.  The people didn't elect GWB... The supreme court did.

Bush v. Gore, 531 U.S. 98 (2000), is the landmark United States Supreme Court  decision that effectively resolved the 2000 presidential election in favor of George W. Bush.
Only eight days earlier, the United States Supreme Court had unanimously decided the closely related case of Bush v. Palm Beach County Canvassing Board, 531 U.S. 70 (2000), and only three days earlier, had preliminarily halted the recount that was occurring in Florida.

Don't cry to me about some boo hoo, Minnesota election that will make no difference in your life....

Because of this Supreme Court Decision, 8 years of the Bush Fiasco that started two wars, killed over 4000 Americans, suspended Americas constitutional privacy protections,  and destroyed the most productive economy in history, was allowed to proceed.

If you're out of a job, lost your home, lost your pension, lost your savings or LOST A SON DAUGHTER FATHER OR BROTHER in IRAQ... BLAME THAT DECISION AND GEORGE WORST BUSH!

It would have made a difference on whether or not the health-care bill got shoved down our throats though.
