DEVELOPING: Another local soldier has been killed in Afghanistan. David Taylor Miller was a 2009 graduate of Saratoga High. His high school football coach told NEWS10 he was informed of Miller's death this morning. His military branch is unknown at this time. Stay with NEWS10 for more.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Another local soldier has been killed while serving in Afghanistan.

The deceased service member, David Taylor Miller, was a 2009 graduate of Saratoga High.

NEWS10 spoke with Miller's high school football coach, who said he learned of the young man's death this morning.

Miller, who went by the name Taylor, and not David, played varsity football at Saratoga High during his junior and senior years.

The coach said Taylor had a great personality, stellar manners, and was known for making his teammates laugh.
