Time to get the hook for state legislators

    Will someone please tell me if I’m wrong?
    To all our lawmakers in Albany — both Democrats and Republicans — who do you think you are? You people are nothing more than a bunch of self-serving fools. You don’t care about the people here in New York state, all you care about is yourself.
    All day long, you do absolutely nothing except bicker back and forth, and stab anyone and everyone in the back. There’s more whining in the Capitol than in all the day-cares put together.
    We, the people of the great state of New York, are telling you to give 15 percent of your pay back to the people and return all state cars. We can save a lot of our money by not having to pay for gas or insurance. Give back your per-diems — you don’t deserve them. I hope we all see the light come November and vote you all out of offi ce.
    One last thing, we need term limits so this never happens again. Legislators’ days of sucking us dry are over. They make me sick to my stomach.
    Let’s cut jobs from the little people; let’s take more monies from our schools; oh, and don’t forget, we need to raise more taxes. Every one of these legislators should be very ashamed of themselves, because we are ashamed of them.

If only the sheeple could have figured out long ago that we already have term limits in the form of an electorate. Just because they
never exercise their authority to limit terms at the polls doesn't mean the controls to do so have never been in place.
