Anybody watching the meeting?  ND is NOT suited to this office.  I find her totally abrasive and uninformed.  Is she a Dem or a Rep?

Isn't she a con?

I do not believe she has anything to recommend her other than she was willing to run.  That is very nice but she just is too condescending to the public.

She is a Conservative, and we need a lot more of what you saw...not less. You're talking about a Board Member who, along with at
least two others on the Board, as well as the general public, was left completely in the dark on the details leading up to the ill-fated
vote on that tax district.

Like her or not she was right...and I think her reaction to this deception was more than justified.

Abrasive, sometimes when necessary but never uninformed. It's only a matter of time before the usuals will turn their backs on ND because she's not afraid to vote her conscious and won't be pushed around.

So far, she has made some good votes. I hope I was wrong and she won't fold. Time will tell.

You got that right...they are already turning their backs on her because she destroyed their tax scheme...and I believe she will be an
increasing source of frustration to their status quo. Good for her.

Sorry--I find her to be abrasive and never seems to know how a meeting is run--according to Roberts Rules.  I expected more from her than the others frankly.  I am disappointed in her.  Her contentious attitude does not appeal to me.

I disagree with ND's past votes. Central dispatch, sync and BI. ESPECIALLY central dispatch. But as far as the rems issue.....she is 'so far' dead on!! And as a conservative, she should be against a taxing district and should support private enterprise. That is the conservative ideology. So we will see how this plays out.

As far as her abrasive demeanor........she mirrors DM in that respect. So this is clearly nothing new to the rotterdam town board.

Wrong BT.  DM never was abrasive on the board.  In fact just the opposite.  She endeared herself to everyone.  But ND is nut very savvy and it worries me that she is a principal.

Certainly you mean the DM of old ... not the latest incarnation which has gone TOTALLY off the wall?

Robert's Rules?!?!?!? Does Frannie know Robert's Rules?!?!?!

Paraphrase from the last meeting:

Parisi: I'll move.
DiLeva: I'll second.
Del Gallo: Is there a motion?
Liccardi: We have a motion and a second already, Mr. Supervisor.  (whispers) "On the question."
*Silence*
Liccardi: (a little louder) "On the question."
*Silence*
Liccardi: (louder still) "On the question."
Del Gallo: ARE THERE ANY QUESTIONS?

What a total buffoon!  I get it...DiLeva is no longer prescribing to the party line, and she took Martin w/ her.  It's natural for you guys to start beating her up.  But make it for something other than Robert's Rules!!! haha

ND wasn't informed on the Central dispatch, Sync or BI issues, hence her votes were dictated by the party.  As for the Ambulance Tax District, the only reason ND knew about anything about this subject is because KR appealed to her and educated her on the details.   If KR had not  reached out to ND, it would have just been another bad vote for her.

IMO, I think it was KR who got the Tax District vote postponed!

It is obvious that you either never attended or watched ALL of the town board meetings while DM was there. Because she also, as you would put it, was not very savvy and very abrasive!

The difference between the two, as I see it now, is that DM was a party loyalist and a political liberal player.....ND is emerging as an independent thinker. But again......time will tell!
