~The vast majority of murders committed in the United States are committed by Non Muslims... So, should we exclude all Muslims when looking for a murderer??? (Religious Profiling)
~The United States has caused by far more death and injury to Muslims in the last 20 years than Muslims have caused to Americans... So should we be held to the same standard and then profile Americans when there is a Muslim killed?
~Look for a murderer in a Muslim country and chances are, he will be a Muslim. So never suspect a Christian for a Muslim death there. (Religious Profiling)
~The Murder rate in the United States is 5.4 per 100,000 population. The Murder rate in Morocco, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (Muslim Countries) are all less than .9 per 100,000 population. So those countries should profile Americans because they murder at 5 times the rate of their own citizens.
You can twist numbers all day to profile any group that you are aiming at, but it has little to do with the facts, or the solution.
For all those Americans that are at war with Muslims... you can kill a million of them and terrorism will increase not decrease. For all those Americans at war with terrorists... Kill a few thousand of them and the war will be over. The problem is Terrorism, not Religion.
The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness. John Kenneth Galbraith
Arab leaders compiled a curriculum of hatred for use by their children and the anti-Israeli and anti-Jewish teachings became a basic element in the study of history in the schools. Arab children were taught that Jews were the ultimate embodiment of evil and should be "destroyed." Although Sirhan's school was nominally Christian, teachers were mainly drawn from the Arab community, which was predominantly Muslim, with some input from foreign missionary workers. Christian Arabic children used Jordanian textbooks. From 1948 to 1967, Christian Schools in East Jerusalem were required to teach the Koran. Following his arrest for the murder of Robert Kennedy, Sirhan told of how he had been influenced by one particular teacher in his school, "Mr Suheil," who angrily denounced present-day Arabs and compared them to the Arab warrior Saladin. Suheil tried to indoctrinate his pupils in Arab nationalism and urged them to be like Saladin and fight for the Arab cause.
As the Arab world ignored the United Nations call to legitimize the State of Israel, Arab Jordanian school textbooks continued to refer to Israel as "foreign occupied Palestine." The texts called for Israel's destruction and made reference to the obligation Palestinians had to defend Islamic land. In the textbooks Jews were portrayed as thieves, occupiers and "enemies of the prophets," "cunning," "deceitful," "wild animals," "locusts" and "treacherous." The curriculum also exhorted children to violence and described the Jewish state in Nazi-like terms. They always described Arabs as "victims." In fact, the purpose of Arab schooling in Jordan and Egypt was to mobilize the population for future conflict with Israel.
The Israeli educational textbooks during this period were not without their own bias and many used less than flattering descriptions of Arabs and were essentially racist towards "goyin" (non-Jews). History textbooks also contained many biases, distortions and omissions concerning the depiction of Arabs and the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict. However, the books omitted the incitement to hatred and violence that was present in the textbooks used by Palestinian refugees in Jordan and Egypt. In fact, beginning in the 1950s, Israel did much to promote the concept of peaceful co-existence. Study of Arabic culture and language was introduced in elementary schools and the works of Arab authors and poets, even those hostile to Israel, were included in the curriculum. http://www.crimemagazine.com/05/sirhansirhan,0906-5.htm IMHO both the Arab countries and Isreal are not helping to resolve this hatred between them and until all sides get serious about this issue there will never be peace in the middle east. If something isn't done to resolve the bitterness between the Arabs and the Jews there will be a war in the near future.

You are actually using murder statistics in the USA, and comparing it with well funded, state sponsored, organized muslim groups that train and carry out suicide bombings, airplane hijackings, kidnappings, and massacres as if they are both relative? If all the people that committed murder in the US were driven to do so by an ideological belief system that have religious leaders calling them to action, I would say it's a fair comparison. But as far as I know, murder in the US are random acts, with no motivation to force change in public policy.
As for the murder rate in Muslim countries. Do they consider the stoning of women to death for being seen in public with men that are not their husbands in the murder rate statistic? Or since the act of being in public with a man is illegal, it's considered capital punishment?
I suggest moving to Lebanon, sounds like a nice, safe place to live. The best part is there are no evil Americans there./Tic
"Do they consider the stoning of women to death for being seen in public with men that are not their husbands in the murder rate statistic? " Although Jews won't stone you to death, the same prohibition holds for religious Jews--concept of Morris Ayin.
