I don't have a horse in the race. I'm not an apologist for the Reps. But,,,the key point of your statement is that they were CHARGED with crimes and had court appearances. The point of my statement was that the accusations against Jimmy C's were never aggressively investigated because his cronies were covering up what they KNEW was going on. Fast forward to Steve T who also ran on the platform and lost....well it just looks like desperation when the ship be sinking. Buchanan, Suhrada, Mertz etal they all do it but the fact remains they are all out of office and can't bring themselves to admit they have their own demons of questionable character flaws. I for one do not support the Reps or using Jimmy C as a rallying cry. There is no rallying cry that will save the imploding Reps from themselves. As a matter of fact, I voted NNTP. To my point, the early actions of this administration are eerily similar to the Jimmy days. That is because the supporting cast is the same turds that supported Jimmy. I'm just looking for representatives with ethics and respectable character. When the Town Board made the decision to NOT have a dialog with the residents during privilege of the floor is when knew how this administration was going to operate.
