I don't recall any of the above mentioned people being accused of fondling high school aged girls. To boot, upon investigation of these allegations of his inappropriate touching - the RPD turning up nothing.  How convenient.  How did they become one of the highest paid police in the State again?  This goes WAY beyond politics and corruption.  This isn't about the general public tax dollar getting ripped off through a few shady publicly contracted services.  There are girls walking around scarred with those horrific memories, and his cronies KNOWINGLY turned a blind eye. With this new administration, it looks as if those same turds are floating back to the surface of this toilet we affectionately call Rotterdam.

One of the Signore appointees was charged with fondling a teenaged boy.  Another was charged with two felony counts, Another was an unindicted co-conspirator with Jimmy C.  All had influential positions and all have had court appearences related to these charges. K?  And that was after Jimmy C.

Shallow arguments from the fledgling founders and posters of the board have become the stock distraction when the going gets tough for them there hillbillys.  Eh there KR.  LOL

I don't have a horse in the race.  I'm not an apologist for the Reps.  But,,,the key point of your statement is that they were CHARGED with crimes and had court appearances.  The point of my statement was that the accusations against Jimmy C's were never aggressively investigated because his cronies were covering up what they KNEW was going on.  The party in control that allowed this to go on then, is now in control of the town now.   Or like I said... The turds trapped on the bottom of the toilet are again resurfacing.

We were all victims of the slime that permeated from Jimmy C but to continually bring up his administration as a rallying cry to support the REPS has lost its traction.  Signore and Lazzari won on the platform but when they got the chance they failed.

Fast forward to Steve T who also ran on the platform and lost....well it just looks like desperation when the ship be sinking.  Buchanan, Suhrada, Mertz etal they all do it but the fact remains they are all out of office and can't bring themselves to admit they have their own demons of questionable character flaws.  So take a pill, chill and figure out a way to live with the man or lady in the mirror.  If you can't then visit your local shrink.

I for one do not support the Reps or using Jimmy C as a rallying cry.  There is no rallying cry that will save the imploding Reps from themselves.  As a matter of fact, I voted NNTP. To my point, the early actions of this administration are eerily similar to the Jimmy days.  That is because the supporting cast is the same turds that supported Jimmy.  I'm just looking for representatives with ethics and respectable character.  When the Town Board made the decision to NOT have a dialog with the residents during privilege of the floor is when knew how this administration was going to operate.

I'm glad to see you recognize that we were victims then. I'm just saying - the residents need to stay alert and not let it happen again.

Cicero---I was responding to the unproven claim that Bumble had a family member who was "victimized" by Jimmy C.  I have friends and family who, looking back now, may have suffered the same fate unbeknownest to them.  K?

It does appear that you soothe your very big bruised EGO with the Jimmy C inapproiate touching, cops looking the other way, everybody knew it, as a way to cope with your own issues.  I suggest you talk to a professional who may help you through the dark days of yesterday that you continually transend into today.

Funny how you can not come to grips with the very reason that the REPS are out are the same as to why the Jimmy C admin crumbled.  This is a game to many of us and with every game there are winners and losers.  Which are you?

I'm through the days of yesterday.  I am concerned about the days of tomorrow.  This administration actions stir emotions present during those dark days of the 80's and 90's.

You did say it best " This is a game to many of us and with every game there are winners and losers."  I don't believe that public service is all about winning elections.  You are the loser.

Let Pooper go, Gadfly.   We'll use her four letter "quotes" to campaign against her when the Dems run her for Town Clerk.   The residents need to know her level of professionalism!

The game of politics Cicero not public service.  Are you a winner or loser in the game of politics?  Your bullcrap about public service is another coping mechanism for you.  I think you have a hard time accepting defeat.  Too bad....such a brilliant mind going to waste on cursing the darkness instead of lighting candles.   Tsk Tsk!

Oh yeah I love kickin your a-s-s around this board.  Easy pickins when you do your homework.

You don't know the half of it peeps!!!!!

You are delusional at best. And yes it is a game of politics at the taxpayer's expense! Perhaps this town board aren't pedophiles like JC, but they will go down in history as an equal embarrassment to rotterdam.....again making rotterdam the laughing stock!!!!

An illiterate leader, MM that can't get beyond his xbox, ND who represents a corrupt school system (who knew nothin' ) and sounds like a page out of the soprano's playbook and BG who covers up his lack of knowledge with arrogance. And let's not forget EE who admitted to committing fraud..........probably for years!!!!

A bunch that goes against a supreme court decision and votes, based on staged emotion instead of law!  They are a laughing stock in the capital district!

Seniors very unhappy!

Residence skeptical of the TC's office!

Would the reps do any better? Don't know! What choices do rotterdam taxpayers have to get this town out of it's sh!thole?
