spidey - what has GA gained from being in the assembly for that last three years?

state contracts? patronage jobs for his friends and family at the state? please enlighten us all

B--mer, it was in direct response to this comment.  I'm just wondering if anyone thinks that people around Amedore are benefiting from his position.

Frank, (aka TBV), Gerard doesn't have an issue with you posting while you should be working on one of his files?

Here's what I would like to know, but we can't really expect you to be honest:  is any of your income derived or client base derived from Gerards firm?  Also, how much is the "rent" in his building?  Lol

Pubic, I mean Publius, thank you for showing your bias, thought for a moment that you might be semi-objective.  So answer this, should Amedore homes be precluded from doing business in the town?  If not, I think we could agree that he should not receive any "special treatment" right?  How should the town treat other developers and how was this handled any differently?

Oh and TBV I forgot to ask, when you lose the primary (just like Stanley) will you be supporting the winner?

Off base, I'm not FS (I know you guys like hiding behind initials!)

Keep accusing everyone with an opinion of being one of the candidates...it just shows how out of touch you are with the electorate! There are other people who have these ideas, also...I'm one of them!

Any comment on my previous post, Zorro?  The one inquiring about whether relatives of Amedore's receive any benefit from his position...?

Better yet.....did or does GA need this political position to benefit himself? Did GA run for this position just for his personal and/or political motivations and aspirations? Did GA run for this political position to 'settle a score'?  Of course not!!!

Anyone is going to be hard pressed to try to launch a negative campaign against GA!

GA has many many supporters in district 105.....including rotterdam. Well, except for the local rep committee people!!

Rotterdam politics is the laughing stock of the capital district. Not many people pay too much attention to who or what they endorse! And that goes for ALL parties.

All these phony issues are not going to help this loser primary. Some of yous better wake up and start helping Farley. Give up on this primary nonsense. We are going to wake up after election day and see REP winning back the State Senate and Ms. Savage winning here. There are many open judgeships/County seats have a sit down.

GA is going to be re-elected in another landslide-instead of throwing dirt up in the air and attacking good CONS start working on your own TB campaign. Aligning yourself with a suicide REP primary is not going to help your efforts.

So are you saying that because Amedore didn't NEED the benefits he could receive, that he's done nothing wrong?

...if that's the case, then he should grab a cup of "joe" with Senator Bruno!

BTW, how many family members of Amedore's are working in his office?  But "I don't really expect you to be honest..."

For the first time, Farley is in SERIOUS jeopardy this year. You're correct, GA will win by a landslide even with some in his own party trying to sink him. And candidates aligned with the failed primary will go down in flames with it, IMO.

Although I don't know why you are wasting your time on an issue that is obviously dead in the water.....why don't you enlighten us, honestly, on this ridiculously petty issue!!!

You have so far NOT garnered any support for this petty nonsense that people are tired of hearing! No matter how you spin it,the local reps are done....washed up....over the hill....kaput! And they did it all, and continue to do it with their own hands. Unless new blood comes in and takes over, the local reps will be on the endangered species list!

The dems are gaining control....BY DEFAULT ONLY.....cause they clearly are not the sharpest tools in the shed. But because the reps are just plain stupid, self serving and suicidal.

The dems, reps and cons motto............'SCREW THE TAXPAYERS'!

Agree on Farley, PG...but the No New Tax Party's Brian McGarry, chief spoiler extraordinaire, was welcomed with open arms immediately after all the destruction he and his cronies caused...so if history teaches us anything, it's that things always change!

I love the revisionist history...Mertz was un-endorsed by his own party as a sitting councilman, and his effort to defend his seat is seen as playing spoiler.  What parallel universe does the RGOP operate in?  Only a handful of committee people actually believe the Parisi version of what happened.

You said the destruction that McGarry and his "cronies" caused for the local GOP ticket.  Who exactly are his "cronies"?  Would Mertz be one of them?

Open arms by who? The last I heard, McGarry became a Republican earlier this year.

And I believe he did so to help rebuild what the local reps are continually trying to destroy!

Personally I hope the NNTP emerges again! Perhaps with the same or new faces. They ran a clean campaign funded by themselves and their supporters/residents! They wanted to change the landscape of rotterdam politics and public service. The current local rep shenanigans would probably garner them (NNTP) even MORE votes in the next election! Yes?

Shouldn't the taxpayers be upset that all of you are blogging in favor of George while being paid by the Assembly to do so? How many of George's family members have jobs because of him? These seem like important questions.
