If not, I think we could agree that he should not receive any "special treatment" right? How should the town treat other developers and how was this handled any differently?

For the first time, Farley is in SERIOUS jeopardy this year. You're correct, GA will win by a landslide even with some in his own party trying to sink him. And candidates aligned with the failed primary will go down in flames with it, IMO.

I love the revisionist history...Mertz was un-endorsed by his own party as a sitting councilman, and his effort to defend his seat is seen as playing spoiler. What parallel universe does the RGOP operate in? Only a handful of committee people actually believe the Parisi version of what happened.

Personally I hope the NNTP emerges again! Perhaps with the same or new faces. They ran a clean campaign funded by themselves and their supporters/residents!
