Not just ST...but anyone who supports GP in this effort to unseat a popular assemblyman, will be done in politics FOREVER!!

Step in McGarry and Tommaselli....please!

Pooper, basically it means you are so unable to form an intelligent response that you have to resort to Hitler... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law

I compare GP to Hitler because of his scorch the earth mentality, superiorty complex, evil plots, unholy alliance with Benito Mussolini Santa Barbrara.  Sorry Mr Godwin but I honestly could not think of a better comparison than Adolph Hitler.

Besides the fact that Hitler and GP share the taste for many "freudinnen" is another reason.

Are you joking!  Diane Marco beat Mertz

DM had her day in the sun! Now, not even the seniors want her around! FDG doesn't even know what to do with her! She is an overbearing loud mouth, with no new ideas, that has turned people off at all levels. A vote for DM is like voting for EE. Someone who says 'yes' to their cronies just to secure votes.

As far as mertzie....she couldn't shine his shoes! It's time for her to sail into the sunset....quietly please!
Otherwise they will send KR after her to find out what skeletons are in her closet! And although not a fan of KR....DM is no match for her. KR would eat her up and spit her out.

By attempting to defend the comparison, you now invoke the principle of Reductio Ad Hitlerum. Congrats! Keep digging! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reductio_ad_Hitlerum

Never lost an election since Judy beat her over ten years ago when she got screwed out of the conservative endorsement by Della Rocca and Andriano. God knows Bumble er KR every stone has been turned over looking for dirt.  Keep trying and I wish Mr Mertz best of luck in whatever he chooses to do politically.  Hopefully it will work out better than the last few.  HeHeHe

And I stand by my spelling of the german word for "girlfriends"  Are you still in GP's litlle black book Bumble?

Cicero, I must admit my sadness as I witness the tarnishing of a name that in my day was looked upon with great reverence. For, it was Cicero, above all the others, who fought tirelessly for a republican form of government. It was Cicero, the attorney who was respected and emulated by the men of my day, particularly those whom have spoken through me for such benevolent purposes as to create the very system of government under which you are now privileged to live. Cicero was also respected for his great intellect, and was not one to put forth lies or misinformation. I can tell you, as I was present for the deliberations culminating in the decision to declare independence as well as the constitutional convention culminating in the writing of your constitution, that the framers of your government had no intention of conserving the rights under the British Constitution. For, in my day, there was no such edifice in existence. In my day, the Constitution of Britain was the will of the king. It was the king who could have your home searched, possessions destroyed, and who could force, against your will, for your home to be used as military barracks. It was Otis, the Cicero of my day, who as Cicero had many centuries before, fought tirelessly in the courts to force the cessation of tyranny and misuse of governmental power, under law of men. Yet you, the serpent disguised as one of history's greatest defenders of representative  democracy, perpetuate a lie so heinous it is beyond comprehension, that your founders wanted to conserve the British government.

As to whether it is improper for a man to draw a salary whilst devoting himself to working for the government, it was never anticipated that one would be prohibited from earning compensation for providing a service.

What I can tell you that my compatriots abhorred was the idea of someone using their political office to garner personal wealth. The idea that one could even consider using their status as a legislator to influence a governmental decision to the benefit of their purse, and to make the matter that much more egregious, against the will of the people, is inconceivable to me. Such conduct is violative of every principle upon which this nation was founded and I am saddened that such behavior is not only contemplated today, but carried out. And that it is defended by a man invoking the name of the great Cicero is that much more offensive.

Indeed, it was Cicero who prosecuted one of the first governmental corruption cases known to man when he prosecuted Gaius Verres, who had, while acting as Governor of Sicily, plundered it for all it was worth. To speak under the name of Cicero whilst defending corruption is beyond ironic, bordering on tragic....
