I beg your pardon MM but the real laughing stocks are Steven Tomassone and Gerard Parisi for their stupid political blunders.  Throw in a political neophyte troll like Lynn Fiorillo with 5 lines and what happens....disaster. Had they crossed endorsed EE or left her alone they could have very well been in position to appoint EE successor but not anymore.  They shot themselves in the foot, mouth and head.  Yippeee  for me!

Yeah Peephole Yippee for you!

As for the second deputy clerk, why not appoint someone who can transcribe the minutes of TB meetings on a timely basis.  Wait, we had someone in that office last year who COULD transcribe without delay...why was that person moved from the job?

I heard that a recent FOIL for TB minutes took over 3 months to be completed.  And the transcribing is being done by someone on a part-time basis (not MG).  So how many people does it take to do the Clerk's job?  This current administration is clearly a laughing stock.

That same employee in the Clerk's office last year not only did the minutes in a timely manner, but she took on the extra duties of
Deputy Clerk at no additional pay.

Godlewski et al shouldn't hold their breath on appointing another Deputy Clerk.

This clearly has nothing to do with 'qualifications' or 'how well one does the job'. Anyone surprised? This is rotterdam!! Party patronage jobs, friends, money and ta hell with the taxpayers!!

It's soooooo rotterdam. And nothin's changin'.

From what I hear, the woman removed from the Town Clerk's Office (the one who did the job at NO extra
pay) is a TRANSCRIPTIONIST!

I get it now, it wouldn't make SENSE to keep someone who is qualified and specifically trained for the position.    It is so ROTTERDAM!    Why doesn't the current administration wake up and realize what a mess they are making.  They have made so many stupid moves simply out of spite.
Guess the voters will need to remind them when and if they run for re-election!   CLEAN OUT THE BARN!

Dear A.S.S. - Since Boomer already outted me, I highly doubt I
could shamlessly self promote myself as a transcriptionist.

Well according to the little blurb in the Gazette today, the extra Deputy Town Clerk is needed, according
to Bobby G. to streamline the office in case MG is out.....hmmm turn to the section where the wedding
announcements are and who do you see, MG is getting married in October 2010.  Okay people start
applying, there is no salary (according to Bobby), they will be taking applications and hire someone based
on experience.  HEY BOBBY I HAVE AN IDEA, MAYBE YOU SHOULD FORCE THE ACTUAL TOWN CLERK TO
COME BACK TO WORK SINCE SHE IS BEING PAID $50K PER YEAR AND ANOTHER $3k FOR THE REGISTRAR
POSITION!
