Just goes to show that the schenectady county reps need to get their act together! It appears that there are now 2 factions to the rep party. Mertzie should take over the county chair! Mertzie has a lot more support countywide than most think!! People can't use the sh!thole rotterdam as their political compass! That would not only be dumb....but it would be incestuous!!  |

I was, too. I think that he put the party lines behind him at the election and is now sitting as an independent member of the board, who will make the best decision for the town, no matter what the arty line is. |

I agree...I think he was eloquent and rational in his debut comments...and pretty accurate for a guy who wasn't even completely filled in on some agenda business. Here's hoping he'll be another welcomed surprise. |
