The Albany Roman Catholic Diocese will make its annual Easter Mass celebration available to anyone with an Internet connection this year.
The Diocese first used the Internet to broadcast this year’s Christmas Mass.
Kenneth Goldfarb, spokesman for the Diocese, said the Internet makes the Mass available to not only the homebound, but those who may be unavailable to see the Mass broadcast on television.
The Diocese has prerecorded a weekly Mass and aired it on local television stations Sunday mornings for years, Goldfarb said. The Diocese does the same thing for its Christmas and Easter Masses.
The weekly Masses are prerecorded in the studios at Fox 23, however, the holiday Masses are prerecorded by Time Warner Cable at a local church.
The Diocese recorded its Easter Mass March 4 at All Saints Catholic Church in Albany. ...............>>>>.........................>>>>..................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r00904&AppName=1
