Dan DiNicola, the Emmy-award winning reporter at WRGB Ch. 6, has died 68, the television station is reporting on its Web site.

DiNicola, 68, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in November 2008.

DiNicola is also known to many in the Capital Region for his film criticism, which appeared in print in the Schenectady Gazette.
