This was probably the best move EE has made. I would have thought that her attorney would have suggested that right from the get go. She is clearly and attorney's nightmare since she openly admitted to fraud right from the get go. There is no defense left.
It's really too bad, but this is what happens when anyone gets too comfortable in any position. It happens more times than not. And it doesn't matter what their age. People in the private sector have lost their jobs for LESS!

Well EE appointed Cindy Dumar as Deputy Clerk (no stipend) but only for the last three months of 2009. She was not reappointed in 2010 because EE wanted Sue Madia and Laura Cagnina back in her office. EE was told no. So now what we have are Michele Golden, Tammy Whelan (formerly of DPW) and Diane Martin from the Supervisors Office in Eunice's Office. It takes three people to make up for the loss of one Typist who could have done the job. YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK! So if the new Deputy Town Clerk gets a stipend, I am sure all of the fools who wanted it shot down last year, will be up there again saying the town is broke. I will hold my hand on my a$$ for that one! EE is making $50,000 (salary and stipend for registrar) to sit home. Great plan by the Supervisor and Deputy Supervisor.
Well that should make you Reps pretty happy. You couldn't wait to run her out of the office. I feel she's entitled. You guys picked the run hill to die on.
