I think it's stupid to think that BL, a virtual unknown outside of the hamlet, who couldn't win"his" party primary for committeemen let alone the legislature is worth a debate on who was a better candidate.

Virtually unknown?  Who cares?  BL showed leadership, desire, convictions.  The type of qualities a party boss despises.  Party bosses need lemmings or conformist who can be told what to do, and set their convictions aside and do what is best for the party.  This just shows how badly our democracy has been damaged by the corruption in our two party system.  They have been so corrupted by the politico class, that a citizen who wants to serve the people must bow before the power brokers running the parties in order to get on the ballot.

Grahambonnet likes to reference the 1992 national election to diminish the effectiveness of a third party.  Let me remind everybody, this is not 1992, this isn't a national movement with defined leaders like Perot, and there is another media that wasn't as widely available to the citizens called the internet.  A place where passion, and organization can be fostered without depending on the talking heads controlling the main stream media to articulate the message.

Go ahead, keep on blaming the NNTP and those who challenge the status quo, and ignore the new political environment.  I will assure you, it's a losing position.

"BL showed leadership, desire, convictions?"  Yes and as soon as he lost he revealed himself to be a whiny crybaby who slammed his running mates JM and BM immmediately following the election.  The No New Tax Ballot line because according to Bumble it was not a Party, was a disaster.

MM you said you have candidates--the ball is in my court?  Ok where are these candidates?   The Reps who showed up today at the opening of Bethesda House are either not up to the job or will be more retreads.  Who've you got MM?  I predict NOTHING.  The best candidate you had to offer WAS Mary Barrie.  Like it or not--she has a brain.

Boomer, you just made that up.  BL slamming his running mates is a totally false statement.

Boomer, I know you are a party person, and you may have benefited and earned an income due to your party affiliation, but to make stuff up?  Just because BL revealed the two parties for what they were doesn't make him a "cry baby".  That's is just rhetoric from you party people who want to dismiss him and marginalize his message.  Sorry, but people are on to the corrupt two party scam.

Boomer you're a conformist.  WAKE UP!

Boomer either made a false statement.....or repeated a 'rumored' false statement. In either case that is clearly irresponsible. Even boomer admits that BL is one of...if not the most conservative out there. Unfortunately, the sheople are still stuck in the corrupt 2 party system. We see it at the national level with health care. It is no different locally. Votes are bought, arms are twisted and sweetheart deals are made.

Honest, true conservatives will find it hard to compete with this type of corruption. However, there is no one to blame but the sheople and the party loyalists themselves.

eg: Iovanella's zone change, the RLL and Larned's proposed development, is just one small example. IMHO

No Boomer did not make a false statement and btw I NEVER got a job because of my political affiliation EVER.  That would be you Sir.

BL was very PO'd with the famous JM and the very solid BM.  He was "very disappointed in his friends" because they went off to congratulate and celebrate with FDG!  Period end of story.  He then immediately started crying the blues about one happen.  No false statements here BT--you just can't take the truth.  I am not the one who makes it up as I go along and twists statements.  You are a pro at that.

Boomer never seizes to amaze me. Boomer did get a job because of her/his political affiliation and lost it due to her/his party affiliation.

Boomer is probably the best at twisting, slanting and repeating rumors, lies and innuendos. If boomer's last post was based on opinion, then that's a different story. If not....boomer's last post in it's entirety is an absolute LIE!

Funny, a fictitious username, accusing a fictitious username of lying, in both directions.

Do you two know each other (for certain) ?

As for the title of this thread....BI is Poedunk Rotterdam in a little rubberband ball......or shall I say spit ball.......if looked at from above I think the town would resemble the markings
left by a spit ball fight....no plan just willy-nilly crap.......what's that show that Donald Trump does?(although he irks me), I'm sure he would best be able to fix it......there are just way too many farm
animals here......I think George Orwell would agree......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
