this is just embarrassing......I say we just write in Alfred E. Newman........because unless they both are in agreement with 'killing the nanny', they amount to a pile of crap........JMHO

Since ANG has no community support he has gone to the huge billboard signs. SS Savage and ANG-your Schenectady team-for lying about job creation and imposing more ninny nanny legislation.

Yes, we NEED one more ASSemblyman to keep Shellgame Silver in power. Anyone who wants him wants Angelo Satan-barbara.

To even imply that Angelo and Silver are connected is hysterical.  The Amedore camp must really be getting desparate.  Angelo has acted on his own for the good of the constituency from Day 1.   Ame WHORE has acted for himself since Day 1.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!!

Mr and Mrs Santabarbara are upstanding citizens  ... didn't do anything wrong -- even the judge said so.

I will believe the judge before I believe any post from the Perpetual Negativity Choir

Exactly!! The santabarbara's 'admitted' their wrong doings. The judge just validated the rest of the petition. However the Santabarbara's were admittedly wrong! Like I said....Santabarbara had much more competent supporters when he was a con. A LOT MORE SUPPORT!!! Support that he probably wished he had today, huh???

not to purposely be negative(according to you), because I question everything.....judges are supposed to be 'neutral' and yet we
have conversations about the supreme court judges....so I always question....esp. when they are up for election and they come from
the same F'EN pool of elected attorney legislators......JMHO

as for this ruling....It carries no weight for me

Santabarbara didn't sue Amedore! He filed a complaint with the league of women voters for amedore's violation of the fair campaign practices. That is all! No judges! No Court! Again, there was no problem with Amedore filing the court action...the problem was calling Santabarbara a lawbreaker before the court ruled...And continuing to call Santabarbara a criminal even AFTER the court ruled in Santabarbara's favor!!!!!!!!!!!

Amedore, Santabarbara square off for Assembly seat
By Paul Nelson Staff Writer
Published: 12:00 a.m., Friday, October 15, 2010

GOP Assemblyman George Amedore Jr. touts himself as a businessman who heeded the call for fresh blood to get involved in politics, while his Democratic opponent Angelo Santabarbara insists the incumbent has failed residents of the 105th District during his tenure in Albany.

The two candidates contend that finding ways to ease commercial and property taxes, stimulate job growth, and making New York more business-friendly are among the top campaign issues that resonate with the voters.

But Santabarbara, who is an engineer, insists that Amedore, a luxury homebuilder, is "out of touch with the working families" struggling with property taxes during a down economy.

Citing his hard-working Italian immigrant parents, Santabarbara contends he can better relate to the constituents whose salary have remained steady or even gone down during tough economic times.

The 41-year-old Amedore countered that his decades of as a homebuilder, combined with his three years in the Assembly, along with his honesty and transparency make him more battle-tested and qualified for the job. Additionally, he pointed to several pieces of legislation related to economic development and public health that he has co-sponsored with Democrats for the benefit residents in the district, which includes all of Montgomery County and parts of Schenectady County.

"We have to conduct business different from the old status quo," said Amedore, a married father of three who is seeking his second full 2-year term.

He said the ways to combat the lack of jobs, commercial and property taxes, and the exorbitant cost of living and running a business in New York is to create sound public policy, control the rate of growth on property taxes through tax cap and eliminating unfunded mandates on school and municipalities. He also favors consolidation....................>>>>...................>>>>...................http://www.timesunion.com/defa.....mbly-seat-707306.php

I couldn't make the forums.  Sounds like Amedore is learning from Farley.   Dance around the
issue, duck questions about the fact that they did NOTHING in office but give them another term
and they promise to actually do something this time around.

We need Angelo Santabarbara in the State Assembly and Susan Savage in the State Senate.
