Gadfly wrong again.  Medical info is on the app.  And btw, you were vicious to EE in the words that you used at the TB meeting.  Frankly I was shocked at your behavior.  Stop hanging around with GP and TB--you of all  people should know what it feels like to have people gang up on you and repeat untruths about you.  You should be standing up for Eunice not vilifying her.

Perhaps it would be helpful if you all got yourselves a copy of the Town law in NYS.  I have no idea why EE has not appointed a deputy.  I didn't know that was part of this conversation.  Why not call her and ask her.

Bumble - I realize that your not being in office was particularly gut-wrenching for you, but the truth is NO board member can act on his own outside of the body of the board but the Clerk can.  That already gives her more power than the board member.  And by the way, I have never once had to wait for someone to come to the window at the Clerks office.  I HAVE waited in line because there have been people ahead of me but EE is always at the window and she also answers her own damn phone.

Face it Reps you lost and you can't take it and someone set up EE so that you could act righteously.  LOL at all of you.

TC--Molly can't speak about what goes on there.  She is not ready for prime time in that office.  I don't understand how she got there at all.

Boomer, by not having a deputy she is putting the town and the taxpayers at risk.  If she can't come into work, the function of her office cannot be performed unless there's a deputy.

Are you OK with this?

Yes.  She has been there 36 years now you want take up this lame-a$$ issue?  Why not research, you all have so much time, how many times she missed a TB meeting or didn't meet her obligations over the past 36 years.  The Bumbler said there's nothing to do in that office.  Don't even need a Clerk full-time.  Check that out.

not refering to the question "what do you do?"

more like
hello
good bye
hows the weather?
what are you and Clark doing this weekend?

maybe eye contact

i'll bet she feels like she has had her soul ripped out   - Thx FDG

most likely chosen because she is most sedate non-threatening typist

however a little x-traing is good for the confirmation of rumor and conjecture

to bad she can never leave......until she retires or until all the handicap permits are renewed with proper doctor's docs

whichever comes first

as for HIPPA---why would it cover handicapped tags????

If someone who shows an outright diability ie:CP/MS and have deformed extremities and are in a w/c, it is apparent they have a diability.....what makes a person who has heart disease(obviously not
physically apparent) any more equal.....

BTW boomer,,,I never said EE was a bad person or didn't have compassion,,,,but the station of notary and it's requirements are what make the station and legality of it......otherwise I can sign anything I want
and stamp any damn thing I want into being.....I'm not saying she did,,,,but, compassion in this town has gone beyond compassion and has ended up as gumbas.......

life is not easy,,,,,,it's hard.....so being self sacrificing caused her to sacrifice her job....good for her,,,,I will notarize a plac for her with a medal......self sacrificing would have been to do it on her time at their
home.......JMHO.....and we wouldn't be having this conversation........

dont tread on me.......

Tppy Canoe is Deb?  Come on Mobile--you are right about a lot of things and I do respect your knowledge and wisdom on most things--especially this issue but Deb I don't believe could be Tippy.  And if it were, why reveal her?

I'm not sure, but I would think "disclosure" laws are intended that the information be released to one person.  I'm not sure there's any way any "non-employee" or "mole" could walk up to the clerks office and say "I'd like a list, with address and permit number of all residents that got a handicap tag without a dr's signature ... thanks, I'll wait for that.".

More information that that is redacted in most disclosures - especially addresses. What if your mother lived at that address - and everyone on this forum started ringing their bell asking them questions? Wouldn't you consider it an invasion of privacy?

As a matter of fact, after I filed my first FOIL for handicap tags issued without doctors' notes with names and addresses redacted...
in other words, a list of all illegally issued tags.
Eunice called at 8:30 the next morning, before everyone else came in, to tell me I could come in and look at the list.
By early afternoon, she called to tell me that the town attorney denied the request...and he likely told her that no such list should
exist.

So obviously the list existed at 8:30 am., maybe it was deleted from the town computer.
Nothing like a little bit more fraud.  Yup, the Dems are making this town a great place to
live.
