noooooo...my point (here's a poke) is that people are sheeple and never look up following the a$$ of the sheeple in front of them assuming the sheeple a$$ in front of
them did all the research for them and that they are right.....thereby assuming they are on the winning team only to realize they ate themselves off a cliff.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I'm confused.  I just read the entire forum topic from beginning to end for the first time.  To be honest, I find the
entire discussion humorous and am glad that my life is so full that these issues don't matter to me.  Parisi had
already lost the Primary Election and is no longer in the race.

Amsterlight, first you accuse a staffer, then you accuse Amedore of breaking the law.  Assuming that a staffer
was caught "stealing" a sign, how does this transfer to Amedore?  Or was Amedore caught in the act too?

Assuming that this "private property" was placed on publicly owned land and that the "theft" occurred after the
Primary Election, wouldn't the sign be considered abandoned property?  It was not located on the owner's property
when it was taken.  If the Town Highway Department employees remove the signs at this point because the sign
ordinances state that they must be removed within 14 days of the election, are they also guilty of stealing?

Lastly, I would be careful of accusations made against private citizens (i.e., non politicians) unless you have
solid evidence of wrongdoing that will hold up in court.  Otherwise, you may end up being the Defendent in
court.

I would really like to understand the harm.  Is Parisi planning to save these signs for a future run?

And, lastly, let's discuss again the town ordinance.  Will fines be issued if the signs remain up after 28 Sep?
I'd personally like to see those for which the candidates are no longer in the race removed as the clutter
is unbecoming.

Amedore promised to 'try' to pass lowering or doing away with the thruway tolls all together because he believes as most of us do that they should be. That was one of his aspirations when he took office. But being a realist, if Amedore a 'newbie' and one of the most conservatives in the assembly couldn't MOVE the rest of the bunch this first time around, what makes anyone think that anyone else can accomplish the same in their first term?

Being that Amedore is one of the highest ranked conservatives, people will more than likely continue to support him.

Again.....people are not hearing exactly what Santabarbara's platform and vision is for change and what he realistically expects to accomplish. Campaigning on negativity is not exactly what the electorate wants to hear. They expect to hear specifics, a plan, a vision....and the electorate only knows about cheese and autism. What else is there?

Again, tell us why the people should vote for Santabarbara WITHOUT mentioning Amedore's name! That is what the people want to hear and see.

If so, the farm over by I-88 should be paying some nice hefty fines by now, considering they still have signs up from last year's election, DelGallo for Supervisor.

Amsterlight, why are you trying to make George Amedore look bad. Why not spend some time trying to make your candidate look good? Oh I forgot he's making cheese and milking cows.

Yeah,,, Vote for Santabarbara-Parisi.  They already have proven experience steering Rotterdam tax money to their law firm as Rotterdam Republican Chair,  or in Angelo's case, money/contracts to the engineeing firm he works for as Chairman of the Rotterdam IDA.

Just what we need in Albany, more politicians skilled in the craft of steering tax money and contracts that serve their personal interests.
