Your comment reminds me of how ND makes a motion.  The Supvr asks if there is a motion and ND always replies "yes"...the correct reply would be "I make a motion, Mr. Supvr" or something similar.  

It's GREAT.  

And to all residents:  Tune in on Saturdays at 1pm, Channel 16 or better yet, attend the TB meetings.  You have already paid your admission to this show (taxes).  

Hell....the 'super' has to be reminded and told to ask IF there's a motion!

This Saturday's replay will probably still be the January meeting but when the 2/10 meeting is shown (hopefully Saturday, 2/20), watch carefully.   During privilege of the floor, one of the residents "asked" a question, which is something they were told they could not do.  The Supvr began to give the resident an answer and RG waved him off signaling him not to answer.  

Yes, people, if you have a question, they don't want it brought to the Town Meeting!

You guys are so full of anger and a mean-spiritedness--get off this.  Of course people are going to defend Eunice.  She is LOVED and TRUSTED.  She did a favor for some seniors--big deal.  Wait till some comes out.  She was set up I am sure.

MT-re: the grant.  I apologized on another thread.  I gave out faulty info.  I was told by an "insider" tht the secretary had already made back her salary.  She did write a grant but no one has heard about as yet.

GIT OUTTA HERE! This person is actually related to EE? Perhaps she notarized papers for him too, huh?

By her own admission, Eunice committed fraud when she attested by her notary signature/stamp that she witnessed a document
being signed by a signatory of whose identity she confirmed.  At a minimum she should lose her notary license.  There should also
be fines imposed by New York State.  I don't know that she should lose her position in our town government.  That is for her, the
current town board, and us residents to decide (at her next reelection bid)

Her admission should prompt a review of all documents that she notarized during the recent past to ensure that the persons
whose signatures were being notarized appeared before Eunice and that they were, indeed, legally entitled to whatever provisions
were provided for in the documents.  

The issue that I have with all of this is the attitude by some on this board who suggest that because she is a long time
servant to the town, a personal friend, or (more likely) because she is of the same party affiliation as they, that she is
entitled the right to commit a misdemeanor.  What other laws have been violated by those in our town government or town
service of either party?  Speaking of which, what became of the illegal dumping at the sewage plant?

Lewis is seemingly being treated with reverance by the police and the courts despite being charged with multiple charges including
repeated DWI.  Why should those in political office and public service be treated differently when they commit a crime than the general
public?  What are the limits?  How serious of a crime must one in government commit to be prosecuted and punished like the "common
man"?

well done and good luck convincing others to look beyond the petty squabbles and childish antics in this town.  Why is it so hard to simply do what is right?
