I predict that one of the first things he says is...........
'I know you are all angry...so am I.'
He'll play the 'I can relate and understand and feel your pain' thing!

Embattled Obama declares in speech, 'I don't quit' In State of the Union, Obama appeals for health care support, declares 'I don't quit'

WASHINGTON -- Declaring "I don't quit," President Barack Obama fought to recharge his embattled presidency with a State of the Union vow to get jobless millions back to work and stand on the side of Americans angry at Wall Street greed and Washington bickering. Defiant despite stinging setbacks, he said he would fight on for ambitious overhauls of health care, energy and education.
"Change has not come fast enough," Obama acknowledged Wednesday night before a politician-packed House chamber and a TV audience of millions. "As hard as it may be, as uncomfortable and contentious as the debates may be, it's time to get serious about fixing the problems that are hampering our growth." Obama looked to change the conversation from how his presidency is stalling -- over the messy health care debate, a limping economy and the missteps that led to Christmas Day's barely averted terrorist disaster -- to how he is seizing the reins. He spoke to a nation gloomy over double-digit unemployment and federal deficits soaring to a record $1.4 trillion, and to fellow Democrats dispirited about the fallen standing of a president they hoped would carry them through this fall's midterm elections.
What amused me the most was how obama talks job creation and how business are the foundation of our country/economy.How he's gonna give businesses a tax break for new hires. (he forgot to mention that no one is buying...so no need for new hires)THEN.....out of the other side of his mouth, he makes wall street and large corporations look like satan himself.....THEN....goes on to say how he will tax everyone who makes over $250,000. Uhhhh....wouldn't that encompass most business owners.
Is this guy for real or what? The speech was weak at best. All fluff and no substance. And as far as 'barbie botox'.....well at least her pant suit and joe's tie matched. (purple) awwwww!

How about his 1970's ploy about women making the same money as men? Is this guy a left over hippie?

Mona Charen Obama speech a big waste of time Mona Charen is a nationally syndicated columnist.
In 1960, Fidel Castro addressed the U.N. General Assembly for four-and-a-half hours. President Obama didn’t hit that target Wednesday night — it only felt like it. The president had some things to get off this chest — and if it took 70-plus minutes, well, lucky us, we got to listen. The speech answered the question that began to form when Republicans took the governorships of Virginia and New Jersey and came into sharp focus after Scott Brown delivered his haymaker Jan. 21: Would Obama pivot like Clinton in 1994 or not? He will not. This isn’t surprising. Obama is a conviction politician. Raised in a left-wing cocoon, he has never given evidence of being anything other than a true-believing left/liberal. Describing his college experience in “The Audacity of Hope,” he wrote: “I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets.” Sounds like a list of his czars. So, no, President Obama is not going to reassure voters that he has gotten their message. He is not going to tack to the political center. He is not going to acknowledge overreaching on the matter of nationalizing health care. These are moral issues for him. Promoting his health care reform to religious leaders last August, he said, “It is a core ethical and moral obligation that we look after each other. In the wealthiest nation on earth, we are neglecting to live up to that call.” We embarrass him. Though he shot to political stardom as a supposed “post-partisan,” he has presided over the most ideologically dogged administration in memory..................>>>>....................>>>>...........http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r00701&AppName=1
Re Jan. 28 article, “Obama keys on economy”: President Obama’s State of the Union address was clearly a home run. After eight devastating years of the Bush administration and failed Republican policies, we now have a president who understands that as America’s middle class goes, so goes the country. Obama’s biggest problem is not the economy or health care, it’s having to deal with the party of “no,” a party that is led by some bozo radio talk show host and a bitter and confused old senator from Arizona.
Obama doesn't understand anything but how to try to save as many Democrats as he can from being thrown out of office come Nov 2010. This administration is all about growing the government, raising taxes, and spreading the wealth to those that they feel deserve the cash as well as any liberal program that they deem worthy at the taxpayers expense.
the Dems are 'bible thumping' without actually bringing it up......take from peter to give to paul.....and 'in the name of brotherly love we will take it from you and give to them'......
the Reps rhythm is 'no to abortion' pro-life.....
so really right now both parties are wrong.......JMHO
DONT TREAD ON ME........
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
