Beats the alternative I have first hand knowledge but I can't talk about it.

Oh pallleeeezzzzzee!!! Throwing inuendos out on a message board is sooooooo liberal!!! I beleive there were idle threats during the last election cycle. What came of that? ST WON!!!

This circus, we call a town board, will try to blindside everyone with their nonsense. They have already cut back on town meetings. Good job Mr. Supervisor!!! And by the way....where are our elected official's email addresses on the town web site?

I am with you BT!  If "Peeper" wanted back into the political game, she should have run for office.

As far as emails.  Just put the first letter of the persons name with the persons last name at rotterdamny.org

example:  JDoe@rotterdamny.org

Don't expect an email from Esposito or Delgallo, they don't know how to use their computers. I dare one of you
to call her, like I did one time, to send an email to her, you know to save paper and a stamp.  Her response....
"I don't have email".

Peeper doesn't want town clerk - she wants to be named supervisor (note, I didn't say "elected")

No wonder she has been up Town Hall's a$$. I think Godlewski will get it before she does. I don't think DM has the
right stuff to become supervisor.  She is a loose cannon.

Perhaps she is just the behind the scenes ring master of this circus.

Parisi to blame for bad state audit, should quit

Re Jan. 23 article, “Audit criticizes lack of bidding”: The Daily Gazette article re Rotterdam being criticized for lack of bidding was what the recent election was about!
The people of Rotterdam now know more about what was happening during the past administration’s tenure. The sad part is that Gerard Parisi, the past legal adviser for the town is now a sitting board member, having been selected by those thrown from offi ce for their ineptness.
Residents should call for Mr. Parisi to resign his seat, as he was part of the reason the state comptroller's office issued the damning report. Mr. Parisi, as legal adviser, should have known what was being done and should have objected publicly. Perhaps he felt he was working for former Supervisor Steve Tommasone and the board, and not the taxpayers of Rotterdam. As legal representative for the town, he had a fiduciary responsibility to see that taxpayers were not being taken by not using competitive bidding.
The relationship between former board member Michael Della Villa and the contractor should have been called to question and Mr. Parisi should have been the one to do so.

GARY P. GUIDO
Melbourne, Fla.
The writer is a former town resident.

Who cares what a former resident of the town thinks? We live here! We have to withstand the affects of our town government. Do we really care what the view is of a former resident who no longer has to suffer the affects of this board? What are the odds that Mr. Guido has any clue about the travesty that is FDG and BG? Mr. Guido, let's make a deal: I'll stay out of Melbourne politics, which I have no idea about, and you stay out of Rotterdam politics because you likely have no idea about the day to day course of events in this town.
