Obama is taking a major risk here. If Coakley loses.....it's almost ALL OVER for obama!

I'm sure hoping that Brown can pull off a win but it's an uphill battle when a Rep runs in the most liberal state in the country. If this election is even close the Dems will know that the hand writing is on the wall and that they will lose big in Nov 2010.

Coakley Risks Offending Red Sox Nation, Calls Schilling 'Another Yankee Fan'

In such a close race, anything could tip the balance, and Massachusetts is devoted to its baseball team

Martha Coakley, the Democratic candidate in Tuesday's special election for Massachusetts senator, didn't do her campaign any favors Friday by dismissing Boston Red Sox hero Curt Schilling as a "Yankees fan."

In such a close race, anything could tip the balance, and Massachusetts is devoted to its baseball team, especially after it reversed years of bad fortune in 2004 by defeating the Yankees in the playoffs and going on to win the World Series with Schilling's help.

The gaffe came in a talk radio interview Friday night. Coakley, who is vying to fill the late Ted Kennedy's Senate seat, took a swipe at former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani for dropping in Massachusetts to campaign for the Republican candidate, Scott Brown. Giuliani is well known as a Yankees fan.

But Coakley hit a foul ball when the show's host, Dan Rea, noted that Schilling is supporting Brown.

"And another Yankee fan," she said, apparently stunning Rea.

"Curt Schilling, a Yankee fan?" Rea asked, prompting Coakley to quickly backtrack.

"Ok, I'm wrong," she said.

"The Red Sox great pitcher of the bloody sock?" Rea asked, referring to the World Series game that Schilling pitched with an ankle injury that caused blood to stain his sock.

But Coakley swung back.

"Well, he's not there anymore," she said...................>>>>............>>>>.............http://www.foxnews.com/politic.....chilling-yankee-fan/

MSNBC just had a clip on, I only caught the end of it, Independent Kennedy dropped out of the race? If that's true, it's the Republican's race to lose.

obama is going to use the political strategy that it was Wall St./reps/big business that caused this deep recession that we are in. That it is the dems that will 'continue' to take on wall st and big business that supposedly the reps support.

Now here's the thing.....The recession is obviously the result of a number of 'things gone bad'. The main one is Barney Frank and the Freddy Mac and Fannie May's approved corruption. It started with the clinton administration, continued through the bush administration and is being embraced by the obama administration.

See....they are all alike. And people wonder why there is a tea party movement! DUH!

Schultz would cheat just like acorn did!!!! And look what we got from that fiasco?

The news has Brown gaining even more over Coakley. The lib/dems have not been on tv too much these days. Looks like they are hiding in their 'bunker' now, huh? Probably sticking that 'sharp object' in their eye when they think of this idiotic healthcare beast. Clinton tried it and failed from lack of public support. Ya think they would have learned by now! But nooooooo! Change is a comin'!

Did Obama Let the Progressive Cat Out of the Bag?
by SusanAnne Hiller

President Obama traveled to Boston to help stop the bleeding of Martha Coakley’s campaign from several self-inflicted wounds. There are many critiques of the speech, with some pundits saying Obama was flat, uninteresting, and full of the usual drive-by campaign rhetoric that we have all become able to recite ad nauseum.

obama

As most of us are aware, Obama–without his teleprompter–rambles, is at times incoherent, and goes on and on to answer a yes or no question. He needs his teleprompter. It’s not like an addiction need, it’s more like ‘I really need my teleprompter, because I don’t want to say what you don’t want to hear’ type of issue.

Obama and his compliant press have tried to manufacture him as a centrist; however, that cover has been blown as of today.

What was stated in the Coakley cheerleading campaign speech in Boston, I don’t think Obama meant to say. He’s been off the campaign trail for so long, that he’s not on his game; I think the misstatement by Obama was a huge gaffe. At about 4:28 during the speech, Obama states:

“…you will carry on the best progressive, forward-looking values…”He alluded to Massachusetts’ as being progressive and may have thought he was in good company, but for those watching the speech who are undecided and awakened to the whole progressive agenda, maybe not so much anymore. I’ve seen many speeches, and I have yet to hear Obama use the word progressive. He is very careful to hide his progressive roots from the Independent voters who are so critical. It is also further confirmation to the rest of the country, for those who continue to doubt, that he is indeed a progressive and clearly not a centrist

Finally, could Obama have underestimated the people in Massachusetts? Could they be reclaiming their history as it appears? After all, Massachusetts did fire the shot that was heard around the world.

I guess they shook off the word 'liberal' and replaced it with 'progressive'. All I know is that they have to be voted out!!! The 'progressives' have done more damage to this country in 1 year than bush did in 8.

But then come to think of it, if it weren't for these pathetic 'progressive' liberal, socialist dems, this country would still be walking around with it's eyes and ears closed. So I guess we owe them a debt of gratitude!

Barack Obama Slams Scott Brown and His Truck… It’s a GM Truckby Jim Hoft

Republican Scott Brown has been running ads in Massachusetts where he is out driving around in his old pickup truck while campaigning for US Senator something Marcia Martha Coakley refuses to do.

On Sunday Barack Obama slammed Scott Brown and his truck several times in his Bush-bashing campaign speech for Martha Coakley.

Maybe Barack Obama didn’t notice that Scott Brown’s truck is a GM truck.

A GMC Canyon
Hat Tip ebayer

Maybe Obama forgot that the US now OWNS General Motors. You’d think he’d want Americans to “Buy GM” not “Bash GM”? You’d think.

Congratulations, C.E.Obama.
