BTW---the town website should be managed from the schools tech programs and used as credit for the students involved-----as free public service......JMHO

EXCELLENT IDEA! And the students would love it!!!!

Felipe--no you can't blame the guy.  Wondering if JM knew any of this?  I would bet he did.  Why didn't he catch it and do something about it.  He was on the Ethics board--he should know what should happen.  How could this be "hidden" from the board?  Don't they look at any of that stuff?  Paolino didn't miss a trick when he was there if it was budget related.

Knew what? Brad gave someone a box of candy. Keep digging and call in Tippy for "fresh meat". Let's talk about that instead of the horrible audit results especially on tech issues. Only in Rotterdam.

Amedore doesn't need the NNTP line especially against Benedict ANG. Hilarious how one "leader" after another unmasks himself on this thread. Rotsa ruck on the town board. Your gonna need it.

Not sure if JM knew ~ you'll have to ask him yourself.

As for hidden ~ I don't know ~ I guess nobody knew ~ except the town treasurer who was told what to do ~ and now the Dems are asking the state to step in and take a look.

Very interesting.  Felipe, you seem to have a direct line to Mertz...could you ask him for us?  I doubt most of the people on here talk to him!

that my friend is clearly called 'smoke 'n mirrors' at it's very best! I really don't want to see the rep party dissolve into thin air, but apparently it will, with no one to blame but themselves. And let me remind everyone that it isn't just the rep party that is beyond reproach. So are the dems and the cons.

They ALL need to be voted out and independents who will not be lead around by the nose by the party or their party bosses. Schenectady county is by far the worst and most laughable in the political world. And who is to blame? WE ARE!!!! We are.... for continually listening and believing the same old bullsh!t!

They are in office cause WE put them there!

Yea ~ he's not that hard to reach ~ but I'm not his or your secretary ~ so you'll have to call him or email him yourself.

If you've ever tried to decypher his political repsonses ~ you know how tiring it can be ~ I'm tired of translating

Felipe, Mertz has been spewing these stories privately for a while now, apparently he got you to make them public? Why didn't Mertz do anything with these stories before? Was he going to ignore this if he was voted back into office? Now that he has nothing to lose is he hell bent on tarnishing others? Seems like it. It also seems like you are his able assistant...

Quoted from Felipe:
I heard that Santabarbara found out about Jerry funneling money to a certain law firm that he has a special interest in and billing it out as an outside firm.

Is it illegal to subcontract to another law firm?  What do you mean by "he has a special interest"?

Felipe, is this FactOrFiction?

Felipe, are you accusing them of a crime? Why don't you just come right out and say it?

Here’s a good one ~ I heard that Santabarbara found out about Jerry funneling money to a certain law firm that he has a special interest in and billing it out as an outside firm.  Angelo found out that the Dems contacted the NY comptroller’s office and are requesting a follow-up review of the legal services that were paid for by the town and if they are appropriate or not ~ because apparently it wasn’t voted on by the board and he hid it as a secret from the board ~ Dems gave Ang a safe way out the back door to show his disassociation to Parisi when the $hit hits the fan ~ and Angelo took it.

Not sure you can blame the guy ~ if this is true ~ could be a problem.

Maybe someone can ask Ang to talk to his fellow Dems and tell them to share town information with the lone Rep.

Parisi should switch to Dem like his pal Santabarbara.  Parisi would then be in the majority and on the "winning team"
Perhaps then, information would be shared with him.
