Benny ~ you're right on the money.

FDG calling for a disqualification of Tommasone for the illegal bumping on the inside track ~ McGarry has been creeping up the inside rail and is now a length back ~ could make a move in the stretch if he has any gas left in the tank.

Signore, Surhada, Godlewski all neck and neck, Mertz being held back by the jockey ~ but within striking distance and Martin falling back fast.

O'Connor and DiLeva in a dead heat ~ Stan the Man had trouble getting out of the gate (trainer didn't give jockey a saddle).

Fiorillo ~ with the fancy uniform, big named jockey, trainer and pricey training facility ~ barely hanging in neck and neck with Esposito.

Trainers:  Parisi ~ who had been riding a series of wins ~ about to face ethics charges from racing association for disgracing the sport.  Willy the Cook ~ four time loser and failing to place any of his horses ~ all of a sudden seems to have the right horse out of the pastures to pull off a possible win.  NNTP ~ horses just wondered on the track and seem to be messing up the whole race and might even win a couple.

"Taking it to the people"/ Ya mean "taking it from the people?"

I can tell Felipe was also there last night. MV made a complete fool out of himself. Reading some pre-canned notes that Howdy Doody wrote. Try looking up occasionally. Not ready for prime time.

The REPS are going out of their way to offend all senior voters. The County race is a complete rout. Keep talking about ponds and the Albany County dump.

Right on the Super race.

4 year Board- Godlewski, Suhrada, Signore. Martin hasn't left the starting gate. Mertz could beat Martin if he doesn't break late.

2 year-O'Connor had a big win at the debate. But who saw it? DiLeva has a late kick. Stan "THE" MAN should have DISQ.
NNTP needs a first win here.

Sadly, some people who were backing mcgarry are thinking of voting for s.t.. Their sentiment is that if mcgarry is in third, they may be better off voting for s.t.. Now these are just people who would be voting against fdg.
I have heard from just a handful, that they were not totally happy with the fact that not only did mcgarry not show up for the lwv's meet the candidates, but that he put it in the paper that he was joining the boycott. Time will tell.
And filipe, this really isn't a horse race nor is it a popularity contest.

Ahh BS.  I commend all that DIDN'T GO!!!  Nice play Suhrada.  Heard you called one of the LWV a fascist.  Just ran to the Barnes and Noble and picked you up a copy of "How to Win Friends and Influence People."  Might be required reading for the course you are teaching.

BT--of course Bill Cooke was there!  He would have been stupid NOT to go.  It's his responsibility to continue to monitor what comes out of the mouths of opposing candidates.

FDG looks great on the backhoe!  At least he isn't sending out "quacky" mailers with little children on them. Get a grip.

At the risk of dimishing the importance of the debate of ideas that should be characteristic of political campaigns, I must say Felipe that I enjoy your humor.  However, the NNTP horses didn't just "wander" onto the track.  We have been in the paddock watching the time trials and reviewing the bloodlines.  Decided that we have the workouts and the fan support to run a competitive race against the thoroughbreds.  We have the advantages in that we aren't wearing blinders in our maiden races and don't need the whip to get to the finish line.

I don't know GB, i think most elections are in fact a popularity contest, due to the high numbers of uninformed voters.

I don't spell check!  Sorry...
If you include "No offense" in a statement, chances are, your statement is offensive.

Instead of mailing out nit wit cartoons the NNTP boys have been campaigning hard, door to door. Mike O'Connor will hit the winner's circle and if enough of you wake up so will Brad Littlefield. Don't waste your vote on a dead ender running for County Leg.

Note to Felipe...stop with the sexist comments.  We thought we had finished with you guys back in the 60's and 70's.  "Power to the People" may have been before your time. I was hoping for a more enlightened response--especially since I am old enough to be Mertz's mother.
