BT--I very much respect your opinion this but I am hoping for better.
I think we all are. I think we all share the same concerns and goals. We just have different ideals on how we achieve those goals. Our country is at a critical point right now.

animals at best.....without the tails.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Obama’s Nobel Prize all about G.W. Bush

Re Oct. 10 article, “Obama’s Nobel jolts world”: Like many millions, I never learn. To win the Nobel Peace Prize, one must oppose the one person in the world who most strongly influences the Nobel Committee: George W. Bush. To wit: Jimmy Carter in 2002, Mohamed El Baradi [head of the International Atomic Energy Agency] in 2005, Al Gore in 2007, Obama in 2009.
I talk endlessly, say little, accomplish nothing, annoy most, favor better health care, a clean environment, full employment, nuclear disarmament, an Olympics in Chicago, and I yearn for world peace. I’m the perfect candidate for Miss America, but don’t qualify physically, so will settle for the Peace Prize.
Besides, the Nobel Prize pays better. I could be like [former] Vice President “Green” Gore — live in a mansion with a carbon footprint the size of Texas, wander the world, become an Alpha Male Rock Star and accept adulation.
C’mon, folks! Let’s get real about Obama. He’s a helluva talker, but so was Barnum — who also ran a circus.

Its an ANTI-Bush statement from the Nobel committee-

My original first post # 3

An excerpt from the will Alfred Nobel stated the guidelines for the prize..." during the preceding year [...] shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses "-

So who else is a good choice ? the Pope ?

How dare you say that about the Holy Father? The Pope is a man of peace. Father Morette where are you-go to Sal's house. IMMEDIATELY!

We will have another war-because of the stupidity and weakness of Obama-who bows at corrupt Arab sheiks and refuses to confront Iran over its nuclear weapons program. He deserves to Nobel just like terrorist Yassir Arafat.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Majority of Nobel jury 'objected to Obama prize'
(AFP) – 14 hours ago

OSLO — Three of the five members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee had objections to the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to US President Barack Obama, the Norwegian tabloid Verdens Gang (VG) reported Thursday.
"VG has spoken to a number of sources who confirmed the impression that a majority of the Nobel committee, at first, had not decided to give the peace prize to Barack Obama," the newspaper said.
In a surprise move last Friday, the Nobel committee attributed the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama less than nine months after he had taken office.
The committee, appointed by the Norwegian parliament, honoured Obama for "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."
"The committee was unanimous," its influential secretary Geir Lundestad told AFP on Friday.
But Inger-Marie Ytterhorn, who represented the right-wing populist Progress Party on the committee, led the way in objecting to the choice of Obama because she questioned his ability to keep his promises, the newspaper said......................>>>>...........................>>>>....................http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5gOy7GLcrP7iQja3yU5Zu4BHMqFdw
