Of course there were moneychangers in the Temple. How else would they have been able to purchase what they needed to offer up? Also at that time Jews didn't have the possibility to engage in this activity in other places. They were remanded to a set area.
A person not worth it???? Well MT is that your great Catholic education speaking? Another human not worth it. You must be a Rep. Hope you don't speak for all of them.

The offer is not the purchase,,,,is it now?.....this is America,,,,not a damn temple......history, fabric, lessons...... NEVER NEVER NEVER....remove the lesson/history........
what do you think about 9/11 memorial?
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS

Is this a trick question ? Which memorial are you talking about ?
I am not sure which one he speaks of. If you have not seen the one that came from Russia and is in NJ--google it and look at it. It is remarkable and captures the collective sadness of the world on that day. I am not sure if the writer is speaking of the two beams of light that we see each year on 911. Cehck out the Russian memorial.
Well that's the point not Christian specifically. What would be a secular Christian symbol? A fish, Santa Claus what specfically. How about a dove? All religious traditions can relate to that? Or why not a patriotic symbol since it is that type of issue. You could put a Star of David and Jews and Christians could go with that but would they and then what about the rest who died for this country?

N0 Christian symbols- Nearly all the structures proposed for this site glorify Wall Street and the unique form of perverted American finance that only a corrupted and collaborating government and banking industry permit. This is what the original WTC was about. It was not much more than a spatial appendage to aid Wall Street - and this is exactly what the future of the site brings as well. Only lip service will be paid to those who lost their lives on 9/11/02 and nothing about those who are slowly dying today in great pain of the toxic effects in their valiant rescue attempts to save others. The designs and proposals of today will only bring a return to the past with updated forms-

We should start breaking the crosses and stars of david off of the head stones in Arlington National Cemetery and replace them with doves or santa clause. After all, public property is no place for religious symbolism. Must have separation of church and state.

Now there is a stupid remark - If I ever heard one - are you practicing to be a wise guy ?
This thread questions the legality of a war memorial cross on public property. All I ask is, should we allow the war memorial at Arlington National Cemetery (federal property) to display crosses or other religious symbols to memorialize fallen soldiers. I think it's a fair question. I thought my sarcastic tone did't require a tic moniker. I thought wrong.
I agree with Cicero. This is the next crazy step that the left wants to take. They will be replacing all the markers in Arlington and puting a pentagram at the top of the monuments instead of crosses and Stars of David. I give them about 15 years to complete this, maybe sooner. After the Greatest Generation is gone, there will not be enough moral certitude to stand up to that in this matter.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
