This country is clearly divided between the libs and cons. The libs approve of abortion (killing babies), porn, gay marriage, legalize pot and government programs (handouts) aka BIG GOVERNMENT. All in the name of 'Almighty government'.
The cons approve of pro-life(respect for life), against porn, marriage between a man and a woman, against legalization of pot, personal responsibility, personal accountability, if ya wanna eat, ya gotta work, no handouts and LESS GOVERNMENT! All in the name of 'Almighty God'.
Now they are both clearly BLACK AND WHITE in comparison. There are definitely NO shades of gray here!

I wouldn't call them freaky...I can confidently and definitively state my position that I believe both homosexuality and incest are unhealthy behaviors. I wouldn't advocate legislation outlawing these behaviors, but I certainly wouldn't allow public schools to push these behaviors on our impressionable youth as if they are healthy behaviors. And my point was with both of the scenarios was, you could not provide a logical reason why the incest example was any more or less of an acceptable behavior than the homosexual example. Too bad you weren't willing to play along.

This is where your argument goes off the rails. Most conservative don't want to legislate yours or anybody else's lives. Conservatives like me would love to be able to instill my values about abortion to my daughter. The problem is,,,progressives like you, and government funded organization like planned parenthood and our public schools are undermining the values I teach my daughter, with the use of my tax dollars. Telling my daughter that she has "choice" , and how if she gets pregnant after being irresponsible, she has the "choice" to terminate her pregnancy, and your parents don't even need to know about it.
Yes, I can say that I believe there are social norms. And yes, both "freaky" examples that I gave do not fit in the social norm of a generation ago.

why would you say 'off topic'....my point was that conservs and libs are actually not different.....in the personal/moral aspect---creepy/gross and the 'off-beat' come from both camps.........and the desire to 'control' the masses is very strong from both camps......but.....the soul of America CANNOT be owned by either camp-----that is what happened to nazi Germany and communist Russia............
