Racism is alive and well. If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and sounds like a duck, it’s probably a duck. If it’s an irrational fear of the president speaking to our children, if it’s an irrational fear that the elderly’s health care will be cut off, if it’s a senseless attempt to de-legitimize the president, then it’s probably racism.
Obama was elected pres, in spite of being black, by the MAJORITY! And the majority was white. Race was clearly not an issue last november.
NOW....obama's polls are taking a dive. Why? Because he's black? Hardly a race issue. Even an idiot can figure that one out.
But now, for all of the majority who voted for change and voted him in.............There is change happening at the speed of light. They asked for it.....they got it!!! ENJOY!

That is the thing about liberals really- they don't really have the empathy they pretend to have because they have no conception that there are reasonable souls who simply disagree with them and their viewpoints. They find it utterly incomprehensible that any sane person would not be liberal such that they think there is a sinister motive for conservatives who are at odds with the government takeovers and such. They delude themselves into thinking (see Cal's post about "smallminded Rotterdam" ) that their way is the way of open heartedness, openmindedness, intelligence, goodness and normalcy. Anyone else who sees things differently or simply remembers history through the American experience of revolution against an unjust government (after all the American system of governance is entirely based on an utter and unshakable distrust of government) has to be "delusional" or having "suppressed racist tendencies" and drivel like that; the piece from the psychologist really cracked me up good! Where is the empathy to see that everyone does not share the same brain? Why don't they get that other people (at least outside Soviet-inspired states) have differing viewpoints that does not immediately qualify for being INSANE or anti-social.
However there is something more sinister about all of this. The Soviets and the National Socialists also used the pretext of mental illness to apprehend people and deny them their liberties as well. The camps and gulags were filled with people who simply dissented and were declared mentally unfit. So as they grab more power over every institution they will continuously seek to influence discourse to the extent that they will go further on this road to perdition. Speech rights will be curtailed because they will declare dissent "hate speech" and then there will first mandate counseling for people who break those new taboos of speaking out. That will lead to laws against such speech then a mass round up over time of people who are clearly insane because they disagree. Those of you around in twenty years will mark my words in retrospect.

For those who have ever listened to Michael Savage on the radio, he often says the same thing. He believes that this is where this country is headed. True or not, Savage bases his theory on history, such as with GB's post. True or not, it is a great history lesson and makes people think.
And I have been saying these things too for about 25 years. It is very clear to me that the idea of "politically correct" speech was the first move made in this evil game.
The control of the lexicon that used daily is of utmost significance. Illegal Alien becomes Undocumented Alien then becomes Undocumented Worker. They change one part of the expression at a time, not biting off the whole chunk. If someone even uses the term "illegal alien" anymore they raise eyebrows and looks of disgust fill the room from well-mannered sheeple. After all the words themselves individually provide a negative connotation, do they not? Minimizing the crime by calling them simply "undocumented" makes it seem like well-meaning clerk in some office misfiled their paperwork. Assuming they are all "workers" certainly gives them further legitimacy since as humans we all appreciate the fruits of "work" and we always needs "workers" and furthermore in the lexicon workers are labor, the common man, always to be worshiped and glorified. See how easy that was. Making something (like speech or a political view) socially objectionable and outside the mores of a group is the first step in the road to criminalizing it. As for me I prefer to actually push back. I call them Criminal Intruders. I might go to jail first.
Tyrants are patient to some extent, at least the grandfathers of socialism are. The new generation of socialists have been trained to have everything now, and with no delay. Push a button and it happens... so it is up to them to finish the job and subjugate America, but they need to finish grade school and middle school first. They have taken God out of the picture since He just gets in their way. They have inculcated a certain degree of sociopathy into everyday life by the means of moral relativity, which is the norm in schools and I am finding even in organized religion. Churches want to be sure they stay on the "state approved list" so they can continue to get funding from the government for their charities and bureaucracy. Witness Catholic Charities as an example. Giving children a cult of personality to worship(rather than God,) sing songs about, and revel in will steel their resolve to do what the boomer generation would find unthinkable...
...Obama's gonna' save the world...I pledge my loyalty to Barrack Hussein Obama...etc...
Give it time, it won't be long.

In response Carol Strock's Sept. 17 invitation to readers for suggestions ("Is race behind the rage at Obama"), I submit the following. Strock wonders about the primitive urges that may be in the recesses of our psyches. I wondered if that microscopic iota in our chromosomal make-up that is responsible for the trait that exemplifi es a propensity for violence and selfishness were to be traced back, where would it take us? I imagined it would take us on a spiraling genetic journey back in time, twisting and weaving, weaving chromosomal data woven as tightly as the fi bers that comprise the Confederate flag that Rep. Joe Wilson so adores. Do we fault the weaver or what is woven? This genetic regression would terminate, I suppose, in a young man named Cain, who, with weapon in hand, was about to commit the first felony. Eons later, his descendants would argue still whether the act constituted premeditated murder or simply the unfortunate result of unnecessary roughness. That didn't help Abel at all. We still attack our brother every day, whether to blemish his character extinguish his spirit or perpetuate false witness. Color of skin may be inconsequential in this type of prejudice, but certainly not non-existent. I wonder why the abominable practice of slavery ever took place. Was it, as Bill Clinton stated when asked, in reference to the Monica Lewinsky episode, why did he do it? "Because I could," he answered solemnly and truthfully. Power allowed him to disregard consequences. So was it the same with slavery? Easily identifiable commodities and the ease with which we could accomplish it? Certainly this is an oversimplification of an extremely complex issue, but it provokes thought to the question the first murderer uttered: "Am I my brother's keeper?" The obvious answers seems to be, "No, you are your brother."
Oh good. Now conservatives have a bad gene. If half the world's scientists could be persuaded to rally around the half baked theory of man made changes in the power of the sun on heating the earth's surface, half can also be persuaded to classify disagreement with governmental programs and administration policy as a genetic condition which, as we all know would require hospitalization (forced if need be.)
I like the reader, wonder what caused the black race of Africa to enslave other black tribes too, then later sell them to white slave traders. I wonder what caused the Romans to enslave other tribes and races of peoples in Europe, and I wonder more recently what gene would cause the Japanese people (obviously an Asian people) to subjugate, slay, rape, enslave, and murder 30 million other Asians...All good questions, yet the focus must be indelibly burned into the self-flagellating America consciousness with the constant harangue of racial guilt, for slavery, for racism, and now for being against the socialist policies of the first black president (as if being black was an offense in the eyes of those who oppose his policy.)
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
GB the whole race thing is being played because the liberal policies of the far left are not being accepted by the majority of Americans so they go back to the socialists hand book and demonize their opponents by playing the race card. Former Pres Clinton has also resurrected the infamous "Right wing conspiracy" against Obama again as well. They're going to destroy the Democratic Party b4 they're done.
I would like to thank Dr. [Robert] Mitchell for thoughtfully providing half the nation with group psychotherapy in his Sept. 24 letter, “Carter right about racism driving Obama’s detractors.” Jimmy Carter’s, and Carl Strock’s, courageous and novel assertions have now been validated by a paid professional, and we are all the better for it. Dr. Mitchell’s remarkable ability to understand the collective minds of countless individuals who disagree with the president is a great and much-needed talent. One day, I would love to sit in on a few of his sessions and see him perform such in-depth analysis firsthand. With Gov. Paterson under relentless attack for a mess he inherited (not unlike others we know), I wait anxiously for the doctor’s next Gazette group session.
He needs to stay out of politics and I'm sure the dem party has probably just about told him to do the same.

Do we really think that the Pres getting elected was a 'shot in the dark'----NO FREAKIN' WAY....he was groomed and both parties knew it and embraced it.......
Would a 'hate crime' be talking bad about or disagreeing with the president and others saying you are prejudiced so it is a 'hate crime'?????
there is ALWAYS pre-laws laid for a foundation-----IE:patriot act;homeland security;HIPPA etc etc.......the list is endless.....and it certainly didn't happen with one party
our shew bread on the alter of America is very stale.....
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
