Big signs mean big--------------

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Surfeit of political signs says something about the candidates

Outrageous! What are our candidates thinking? The main roads in Glenville have so many political billboards and signs (both town and county), when driving by them you can’t make out one from another.
And then there are the mailings. It seems that every day brings more literature from the same individual(s).
The cost for all this nonsense is obscenely high (as much as $100 per sign), because each candidate is trying to outdo the other with sizes and photographs. The totals run into the thousands of dollars, as indicated in the financial disclosure statements available online.
There’s so much rhetoric regarding the economy and the rise in taxes, you’d think these candidates would try to set an example of frugality. Wouldn’t it have been terrific if these candidates donated all this wasteful spending on something worthwhile, such as the Schenectady Free Health Clinic? Then I could admire them.
I know it’s considered a lost opportunity to not vote for any of those currently running for office, but almost all of them have disgusted me with their self-importance.

Agreed.  Lazzari has my vote.

The illegal act of his opponents releasing Lazzari's confidential employment files sealed the deal for me.
I don't know which fool was advising Dagastino's campaign or who thought that this illegal act would benefit
his campaign, but it will likely result in Lazzari's victory.

Then compound it by mailing it everyone-Did you know Joe Lazzari parked in the City Garage? Working together works! ROTFLMAO!!

Did you see the new Joe Lazzari TY ads? Salami says you no vote for two DAGS. Lazzari 4 Sheriff/Littlefield 4 County Legislature.

Let us remind Ginny, that all of these signs were paid for with PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS! People contribute to candidates so candidate can ADVERTISE their intentions. People don't CONTRIBUTE to a candidate so the candidate can donate the money to THE FREE HEALTH CLINIC! I'd be pissed if they did!

Releasing anyone's employment file to the press or to anyone else is illegal.  I am sure they will find out who did it.  Joe Lazzari's TV ad was very good.  But I don't think that will neutralize what the Gazette did.  Also I am shocked that The Gazette, that most of us think is so Republican/Conservative leaning, would have allowed that to happen to Joe Lazzari.  Shame on them and Carl Strock--he ought to know better.

The Gazetto is a liberal rag. It hasn't been Conservative in decades. The FBI should investigate who leaked confidential personnel info to the Gazetto.

Read the "issues"--swore at a banker, parked in the City garage?-All chickens---. This is not going away as other media is giving this dreck a look see.

No one I know Democrat or Liberal find that paper to be anything but leaning toward /Reps and Cons.  In fact I don't even get it because it IS such dreck.  Interesting to me how the people of this board love it.  I only read it when someone tells me to get it because I won't read it on line either.

This was a particular nasty blow to Lazzari.  I didn't see him dishing dirt out but maybe he was.  Unfortunately Dom is looking better to more people today.  Although nasty, it helped me make my mind up.

I guess when your measure the Gazette against The Daily KOS and The Huffington Post, it actually may appear right leaning in comparison.

Sorry Cissy--I read the NY Times and the TU for local news.  Wow that would be two more papers than Sarah!  Too bad I can't see Russia from my house.
