You are correct benny. Van Jones is a self proclaimed radical revolutionary communist!
I don't think that obama can redeem himself anymore. He is clearly not presidential material. He clearly thinks he can run washington like chicago. His relationships and close ties to everyone from rev. wright, up to the present are questionable at best.
I think it is a fair assessment to suggest that obama just wait it out and sit in the oval office, for the next 3 1/2years and do nothing. That would be in the very best interest of the american people. IMHO
Like this is some big deal ? he's a communist ? big deal - and I never heard of this Van dude - Czar- is that like a Duke or a Count ? |

By some accounts, Obama has nearly 30 czars, who are officially called special advisers. The czars cover issues from AIDS and health care to Middle East peace.
Czars are nothing new. They date back to early presidents, including Franklin Roosevelt. Republicans also had czars: Richard Nixon had an energy czar, and George H.W. Bush appointed the first drug czar.
But the positions are not subject to congressional oversight or Senate confirmation, which rankles critics of the administration.

Every president democrat or republican have scapegoats around them.....folks willing to 'resign' or 'step down'.....to take away that 'spot' on the presidential seat/office.....we can all sit here and pound our keyboards, fill our coffee mugs at DD or Starbucks or hold the cup from home and talk about this guy over and over.....guess what.....that's what keeps us lookin' the other way.....
collective sigh, "Whew! Glad he's gone. What a blah blah blah blah........."

Bomb shelters were popular in the 1960's people were afraid we would get bombed by the commies - you must be too young to remember and now I remember seeing Bill Bennett-the DRUG Czar- sitting at a $ 500 a pull slot machine ( spending some of his book deal advance money ) |

NAACP to Honor Van Jones as 'American Treasure'
White House green jobs adviser Van Jones quit the post last year after he was dogged by past remarks and associations, but that isn't stopping the NAACP from awarding him one of its Image Awards
White House green jobs adviser Van Jones quit the post last year after he was dogged by past remarks and associations, but that isn't stopping the NAACP from awarding him one of its Image Awards -- and even calling him a "American treasure."
Jones, who served as an adviser to the White House Council on Environmental Quality, generated mounting criticism last summer, first for calling Republicans "assholes" during a videotaped address earlier in the year and then for signing a petition in 2004 supporting the "9/11 truther" movement, which believes the Bush administration may have been involved in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.
The latter development, which came on top of several others, was perhaps the most devastating and led to calls for his resignation.
But Jones still has his share of outspoken supporters, and one of them is Benjamin Todd Jealous, president and CEO of the NAACP.
"Van Jones is an American treasure," Jealous writes in an opinion piece posted at CNN.com. "He is quite simply one of the few Americans in recent years to have generated powerful new ideas that are creating new jobs."
Jealous cites Jones' book "The Green Collar Economy," his role in passing the 2007 Green Jobs Act and his work with low-income people in Oakland, Calif.
At the time of his resignation, Jones said the controversies had become an unceasing distraction, and he assailed his critics. ..................>>>>..................>>>>.................http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/23/naacp-honor-van-jones-national-treasure/
