Former Union President Roger Hull says allowing 3 incumbent KRAT Schenectady City Council members to run unopposed in Nov is a disgrace. "We are not living in Iran or North Korea. If we do not challenge our political leaders we are not a democracy".

Hull is not interested in running but promises to pull people together to come up with opponents for the all KRAT city Council and KRATS ruining County Legislature. 2 years ago the County REPS came up with only 1 candidate for 8 races!

Hull said property taxes ranking the highest in the NATION, failing neighborhoods and police problems should hve been addressed long ago. "If everything was working well, then the lack of political opposition might be considered OK-but things are not well in Schenectady" Hull stated.

Then why didn't HE run of it is a disgrace? He was courted over and over. But he did not want to run since people are afraid to run as Republicans in the city and elsewhere in this current climate. That is exactly what happens when one party is so strong: people become fearful of standing against the Leviathan.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Hull was courted over and over by Republican leadership - Mertz was thrown out by Republican leadership - One of four Republicans representing the County Joe Surhada steps down from legislature to run for a town seat already held by a fellow Republican - Republicans endorse environmentalist Mary Barrie for the seat vacated by Surhada - fiscally conservative residents who will be representing the new No New Tax Party were denied endorsement from the County GOP.  You wanna talk disgrace,,,,,how about schizophrenia.

Hull probably didn't run as a Republican because he didn't want to take his marching orders from those clowns running the Republican Party.

Hull was courted? By who? The current standing marching orders are let the entire County go to hell while the dead enders focus on bunker Rotterdam. Then they wonder why DEMS from all over are flooding into town? The DEMS are the biggest supporters of the current situation. They love running against Mr. Blank.

I was assuming Republicans since Grahambonnet posted it.  I don't know Mr. Hull, I'm taking Grahams word for it.

Why would Roger Hull Mr NO PILOT {who refused to pay ANY payment in lieu of taxes while at Union College} run? Not surprised at all that no one would sign his petitions. He's about as popular as Son of Sam over there.

When a socialist like Mr. Hull complains about the DEMS and the lack of any electable choices it's a disgrace on many levels. Bring on the NO NEW TAX PARTY.
