BALLSTON SPA — Stillwater Supervisor Shawn Connelly will not be allowed to run as a Republican in the primary or general elections this fall, a state Supreme Court judge ruled this morning.
Connelly appealed a decision by Saratoga County Elections commissioners which threw out his GOP nominating petitions for the fall elections.
Commissioners William Fruci and Diane Wade said elections law requires the office and municipality must appear on all pages of nominating petitions and Connelly's paperwork did not have the proper information.........>>>>.............................>>>>...........http://www.dailygazette.com/news/2009/aug/07/0807_repub/
