Just who is the bully breed with pit bulls?

So much is in the news about pit bull terriers being a “bully breed.” Let’s really bring to light what is going on, which is that certain dog owners are selfish and inhumane. When you turn a lovable animal, any animal, into a material object instead of the living and breathing being that they are, that is unconscionable, hopefully illegal.
How did we go from the pit bull terrier being a beloved symbol of Americana (WWII’s Sgt. Stubby, RCA recording and Buster Brown Shoes logo, Helen Keller’s Sir Thomas, Little Rascals’ Petey) to a breed that is outlawed in certain states, a breed that is feared for its strength and aggressive nature? I will tell you how — a bully, a sad, pathetic human bully, found that you can turn that same pit bull loyalty and feisty nature that makes them wonderful loving family pets into dangerous weapons.
I ask you, who is the bully breed — the animal that only wants to please its owner or the owner that teaches or molds the dog into a mean, aggressive fighting machine?

SASHA escaped somehow from our yard Saturday night around 6 pm, even though she was tied out on her run line. The clasp and the lead are still intact, so I have no idea how she got off of it. She has a pink collar with a pink heart ID tag with our address and phone number. Sasha is a 3 year old VERY FRIENDLY and completely non aggressive and trustworthy pit bull. She is mostly tan with some white patches on her neck and chest, and a white stripe down her forehead. She weighs about 45 lbs. She's been raised around small children all her life and shares her home and yard with an 8 lb poodle. She loves to play wrestle, and might knock things or even small people over by accident, but she isn't aggressive, she just is full of love and exuberance! Please call Jennifer at 372-8835 or 210-4313 if you see her!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

**UPDATE**.....I still haven't found Sasha and no one has called or emailed with information about seeing her anywhere. I'm worried that this means she was TAKEN and the person has no intention of returning her. She has an ID tag on and she loves people, so if she saw anyone, she would have approached them and they would have seen her tag. I've been in contact with the police and the shelters and talked to my neighbors and no one has reported seeing her or hearing of her. I'm very worried. If anyone reads this and notices your friend, neighbor, etc with a new dog that matches this description, PLEASE call me or the Rotterdam Police Dept. at 374-7744. I'm not interested in getting anyone in trouble, I just want my dog back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
