There was a power outage due to the storms - I think they were affected. I'm not sure what time you saw it down, but it appears back online now.
SCHENECTADY COUNTY — Approximately 3,400 National Grid customers in Glenville, Scotia and the city of Schenectady lost power for an hour this morning, a company official said.
An underground cable fault near a Glenville substation caused the outage, which lasted from between 7:30 a.m. and 8:40 a.m., said Patrick Stella.
Power has since been restored to the affected customers.
Approximately 2,600 customers in Glenville were affected, 730 in Scotia and 140 in the city, Stella said. The Daily Gazette was among those affected.
