Apparently Michael Jackson suffered a major heart attack this afternoon. CNBC is reporting that he's on life support according to the father.

Al Sharpton was just giving a speech in front of the Apollo on Fox news. He jumped right in and played the race card saying that it was Michael Jackson who broke the race barrier in Hollywood.

So what does that say about people like Lena Horn, Louie Armstrong, Little Richard, Sidney Poitier, The Platters, The 5th Dimension and on and on and on?

I liked Michael Jackson's music right up to Thriller, which was brilliant, and a short time after. Then he turned weird!

I hope he is at peace now!

There will ALWAYS be a race barrier as a whole....individually we can make choices....

sometimes when we have no one else to blame but ourselves we still look to blame someone else whether that be
race, sex, religion etc.......

we are ALL that little fella out front at one time or another in our lives,,,,what we choose to do with that is our choice.....

he was awesome in the beginning.....

Michael Jackson merchandise flying off store shelves
Saturday, June 27, 2009
By Ameerah Cetawayo (Contact)
Gazette Reporter

CAPITAL REGION — Retailers across the Capital Region are stocking up on Michael Jackson music and merchandise in hopes of cashing in on the unexpected demand caused by the singer’s death Thursday.
A line of people huddled in front of the Blue Note Record Shop in Albany at 10 a.m. Friday.
“They all wanted Michael Jackson because they grew up with him,” said Biff Pock, who was working in the store. “He’s one of those artists like Elvis that always has a new generation discovering him for the first time.”
Within two minutes of speaking with The Gazette, Sam Braden, a clerk at Saratoga Springs’ Last Vestige, interrupted the conversation to sell a copy of Jackson’s album “Thriller” on vinyl.
Another five minutes later, a customer walked in and bought another copy of the record from the secondhand store, Braden said.
“Surprisingly, we haven’t been cleaned out yet. Maybe this weekend we’ll sell a lot more,” Braden said. “I’m going to check and see if we have any records on overstock and get that out.”
Guilderland-based Disc Go Round owner Bob Bradbury said he only had one Michael Jackson-related item in his store when he opened.
“First thing this morning somebody called for it,” Bradbury said. “But I have ordered for three or four customers who have called me.”
Bradbury also put The Gazette on hold — a customer was calling to ask for a Michael Jackson vinyl album.
Bradbury said the demand is causing a shortage among some major distributors.
“They are completely out of all his DVDs and they’re almost out of his CDs,” he said. “I wish I had more of his used stuff when it happened.”................>>>>..............>>>>..........http://www.dailygazette.com/news/2009/jun/27/0627_jackoitems/

Geeezzz...what's it been...48hrs? And they are already looking to blame his doctor. Now maybe the doctor played a part in this and maybe he didn't, but geezzeee.....jackson ain't even in the ground yet. Our society has to BLAME something or someone immediately. Of course the media can sure fan the flames of the story!!!

BET is honoring and giving a tribute to Michael Jackson. Sharpton is spewing his racial spin. So is Jesse Jackson!

So let me see if I have this right....Michacl Jackson was born black, grew up looking black, but in the end he was WHITE! He got rid of any black feature he had! IMHO

Not so fast with crown for Michael Jackson

Too bad about Michael Jackson [June 26 Gazette]. But he was not the king of pop. A pervert, yes. Strange and weird, yes. Talented, yes. King of pop, not!
