subjects involving my community - light hearted with the occasional jab

subjects outside the nation to which the.pope is a passport holding citizen  - very serious

on politics  - public money for somethings, private for others, and limits on handouts  

and more of a heart than 10x the Grinch on December 26th
except for closest to the.pope's heart then its 10x less than the Grinch on December 24

religion - the pope respects all religions yet believes in the.pope

On freedom - supports those who stand up to oppression and supports those that defend the.pope's freedom

btw the.pope hates spelling and puts much effort into most posted content looking to further
the discussion

There are plenty of lynching pics and videos that might give us some insight into the dark side of human nature right here in the US- Actually I think they are " right up there with the murder and beheadings  going on today- just as " good " as your grisly post- pope dude-

Iran demonstrators in new police clash

TEHRAN, Iran — In a sign of endurance for Iran’s protest movement, demonstrators clashed with police Friday as one of the nation’s most powerful clerics challenged the supreme leader during Muslim prayers, saying the country was in crisis in the wake of a disputed election.
    The turnout of tens of thousands of worshippers for former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani’s sermon at Tehran University and the battles with police outside represented the biggest opposition show of strength in weeks.
    Protesters faced fierce government suppression and hundreds were arrested following the June 12 presidential election.
    Outside the university, protests grew from several hundred people before the sermon to thousands afterward as worshippers joined in, chanting “death to the dictator,” a reference to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
    Protesters were confronted by riot police and a menacing line of pro-government Basiji militiamen on motorcycles, who charged with batons.
    Plainclothes Basijis fired volleys of tear gas, and young protesters with green bandanas over their faces kicked the canisters across the pavement.
    Some set a bonfire in the street and waved their hands in victory signs. Dozens were arrested and taken away in trucks, witnesses said.
