I doubt that Bumble.  Was it new construction?  Did you improve the property?  You have very little credibility when you don't give specifics.  But then again that is the microcosim of steve's administration.  Lie and deceive, tell em what the sheeple want to hear and when all else fails go negative, scorch the earth.

A guy can't make a statement around here without getting attacked from the other side.. kinda funny to watch.. although i notice it's a two way street..

Not to single you out PDQ, your just the one i hit reply too, but i think both sides will find it's easier to attract people to your cause by taking the high road instead of going on the offensive... Just my 2pennies..  although if this place was more civil i guess it wouldn't be as much fun.

I don't spell check!  Sorry...
If you include "No offense" in a statement, chances are, your statement is offensive.

I'll say Steve is in a panic.  He doesn't even return phone calls.  He is asking Lynn Fiorillo to answer the calls coming to him.  Outrageous!!!  Is she the Deputy Supervisor?  Steve knows that it's over.  And btw so does his family.  He will be fired by the sheeple on election day.
S.T. doesn't answer his calls just like fdg didn't answer his after the article hit the paper today!! Just like fdg is instructed NOT to take part in an 'every election year' debate sponsored by the LWV. OUTRAGEOUS!!

Let me say yet again....that I'm not voting for s.t. and his crew...I'm voting for mcgarry. However, if mcgarry was not in this race, s.t. would get my vote over fdg and crew.

I hear that fdg has 'tried' to go door to door to talk with the residents. I hope he continues....cause every door that fdg goes to is a sure vote for mcgarry! And that I heard first hand.

Wrong BT the League is not the sponsor of the debate from what I have been told.  FDG has done quite well in this neighborhood.  Reps should have dumped ST and gone with McGarry.

First ~ an observation; this thread only has 33 replies ~ that's pretty sad for an incumbant Supervisor.

Secondly ~ just curious ~ is there anyone (besides the two Mary's) ~ who is voting for Tommasone?

Lastly ~ Cal ~ you're a hypocrite.  You're ready to pull the trigger on firing Republican appointments, but condemn the Republicans for taking you out and replacing you with a part time position ~ what a joke.  Reading your back posts, it is clear that your main obsession is with Mr. Mertz (I can quote those for you if you would like) ~ seems to me there is a lot more than meets the eye ~ did he reject your advances?  Kill your cat?  Sue your family?  Or, was he just part of the Republican majority that reduced the workforce by one full time employee and replaced it with a part timer?

I agree with you on a LOT of your posts, BUT ~ you are bitter and angry and hold a grudge.  Sorry you have to live life with such pent up anger.

Fdg has more hits cause more people don't want fdg than  s.t..

I'm tellin ya....don't think s.t. is out of this race by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm pushing hard for mcgarry....but there is such a thing as being realistic.

Fdg allegedly can't read or write or speak intelligently. Does not have a clue and is clearly unqualified. And is not allowed out in public.
The dago's are stealing signs.
H.V. is having an identity crisis.
N.DV is too close to the corrupt schdy school district.
Bob 'no change' is.....just that.
Martin who?

Tommasone and crew support higher taxes through REMS.

Mcgarry and the NNTP are truly the only solid candidated........REALLY!

I never said I was voting for Tommasone or McGarry. I said I wasn't voting for NNTP as a whole, FDG, Bob "FOIL" Godlewski, Mertz,
Eunice and possibly a few others.  Please do not put words in my mouth.  Thank you!

FDG will win and clean out the barn.  Neither bitter nor angry.  Abolishing my job was political payback .  Unless you know the whole story Felipe, I wouldn't bring it up again.  In the end leaving Rotterdam was the very best thing for me.

As for Mertz--he's a fool and worse a HUGE disappointment to many.  I supported his appointment to the Ethics Board and then when he got into office wanted to abolish it because it was working against him. He turned into a HUGE windbag.   Since he probably has the sweetest wife and in-laws in the world.  I will say no more.  You are way off base.  I find your remarks insulting.

Mary ~ you're a joke.  You'll be voting for the Tommasone, because if you don't you'll be wondering how in the world things got to this point.  You're an embarassment and clearly NOT the one wearing the pants in any relationship.

As for voting for the NNTP as a whole, I would hope not, that would spell the doom of the Howdy Doody show ~ and we wouldn't want that 'would we' ;o)

Cal ~ nice response.  Why political payback against you?  Was it Mertz going after you?  Interestingly, I didn't realize that you had any say in his appointment (by Paolino Administration) to the Ethics Board.  Also, now is time for you to produce some facts ~ how and when did Mertz propose to abolish the Ethics Board????  I'll agree with you regarding his wife and in-laws and with him being a windbag to a certain extent.

As for you being insulted?  Don't dish it out if you can't handle it.

That's just because this isn't the thread where the same 10 people who chat every day are having the arguments on the subject, it scatters every thread, i just personal call it "luck" read the degallo one, most aren't really even about him.

I didn't have any say in the Paolino administration.  I wasn't even working for the town when that went on.  Just watching the politics that's all.  But I supported it because I thought he was a good choice.  Somebody I thought would be fair and use a 360 degree look at anything that came up.  All of that was based on my knowing the wife and family.  I didn't know him at all.  Just thought he would add some level-headedness to the board.  Turned out he only added levity.  No Paolino had not asked my counsel relative to that appointment.  I was working at Catholic Charities in those days.  (at least that is how I remember that)

Just got the new PR from ST's camp.  Attacking FDG--what a foolish tac.  Run on your record Steve--you know your great decision on bringing in Parisi and Surprise.  Oh you can't run on your record because your record stinks.  So nervous are the Reps that you needed to show a photo of a cute little child in a duck costume?  Going for the "cute" factor--didn't work--FDG and the team all the way in Rotterdam.  Otherwise it's Littlefield.  He's got the goods.

Fdg is not qualified to govern a town. He has limitations. He is one dimensional. He is not a quick study. There are people in this town, who I have spoken to, that DO like him. Some have actually said that he is a great guy...... But they have also all stated that they would not vote for him.

Some of these folks, who do like him, (ya know that 'people person thing'), have also said that the only people that will vote for him, are those who can and will gain the most. And they feel that means only the few. Many of these people will not vote for the people that are on his ticket. They have stated that the dems, and those on his ticket supporting him, should be embarrassed for putting him in this embarrassing position. And they don't care how much money he has. It is still embarrassing. They don't blame the reps for putting this information out. They blame the dems for putting him 'out there'.

They do, however, look at s.t. and crew as a group who supports raising taxes through rems. Also realizing that the reps flip/flopped by offering the rems issue up for a referendum. They question if a referendum will ever come to fruition if they do get elected. Some people are afraid s.t. and crew will just push it through.

Now on the flip side, more and more folks are voicing their choice to mcgarry. They feel that he is not involved in the ebb and flow of this political race. That he is just steady and consistent. They look at mcgarry and see that he has a masters degree, a teacher and a successful business owner with strong conservative values regarding less government in people's lives and wallets.

He is a quick study, conservative and eager to serve ALL. There are no special interest groups to pander to. (that may be scary to the few) No party to be beholden to.

I happen to agree with them. Mcgarry is and should be the choice!

As someone who used to to teach in a GED program I can tell you that FDG is definitely NOT illiterate and his computation skills are pretty amazing.  Gerard Parisi is a total embarrassment for bringing this issue up.  It made him look like extremely arrogant and grasping at straws to win this election.  He should resign his position and then be disbarred on ethics charges. I hope all those folks who have not graduated from high school and use him as an attorney take their business elsewhere. Again I remind you FDG is a very successful businessman.  ST and company cannot hold a candle to Frank.  Frank has every right to run for office despite educational background.  Parisi, Tommasone, Mertz, etc. cannot measure up.  Frank will clean that place up and people will thank him for it.  And btw, I know several immigrants from Italy living in Rotterdam who are voting for FDG because they trust him.
All three families said they voted for ST in the past (because he is Italian) and found him to be a big disappointment and a dismal failure.  They also referred to the Surprise package as a
disgraziato.  (good for nothing)

McGarry IS a very nice guy but just as green in politics as FDG and doesn't have the success Frank has.

And you are wrong about the ticket.  Godlewski is a winner.  He is very smart and a forward thinker.
No the dems will do it. And they can do it alot easier now because Parisi was such a jerk.  If they don't work out, we vote them out next time.
