I had the displease of dealing with Ms. Esposito. She was mean and short with me over a stupid fishing license. She sent me to the sporting goods store up the road. TIME TO GO EUNICE! Make room for the next. If you people in Rotterdam are so hell bent on change, start with the TOWN CLERK!
Crazy- What makes you think this Lynn will be any better? Maybe she'll be worse. She doesn't have the knowledge or the history of the town that Miss Eunice does. This won't even be close and will waste alot of this Lynn's time and money. I would have rather seen a change acroos the hall from Eunice, talk about mean and short. Geesh!
First, I never voted for the position, cause I don't think it's 'vote worthy'.
Second, in the very very few times (maybe once or twice) I had to deal with Eunice, she was nice.
Third, as far as Eunice knowing the history.....well DUH!! Eunice will inevitably not be in that position some day. She's 82! SOMEONE new will be in that office....DUH! History??? It's a clerk's position for God's sake!
Forth, if and when ANYONE fills that position, the part-timer better be history. We were only paying for a part-timer cause Eunice needed the help cause she couldn't keep up. IMHO

For the hundredth time I'm not Mertz! REALLY! However, it should be of a concern to you if you really think I am!. Trust me...there are a lot of people out there that support the guy. I am not him....and I tell you that so you can be informed that there are other people out there, like myself, that are like minded and agree with his ideology. Scary for you, isn't it?
John Mertz was instrumental in many crucial issues in Rotterdam. He was instrumental in resolving the Masullo est's issue and fought to keep Rotterdam out of the grips of a walmart supercenter in the west end. He is honest, straight forward and beholden to no one but the taxpayers. These are facts. And I a sure you that I am not the only person who feels this way about him. Scary for you, isn't it?
Again...I am a registerd blank and honestly don't have a horse in this race. But I am informed and will base my decisions on my 'informed information'. Not on hear-say or political rhetoric or just plain nastiness.

my girl was in for fishing lic today....and the town clerk sent her away saying the computer was down
so i called just before four (i forgot they close a four for july and aug) and the girl who answered the phone said the computers working we close at four
