Brian McGrarry is unique in that he has experience and relationships with both private businessmen/women and public employees. Brian is a public school teacher, as well as owner operator of a successful photography business. So who best to understand the governments role in balancing the needs of private business and public services. He's intelligent and articulate. Unlike multi millionaire Fran DelGallo who said the reason he's running for Town Supervisor is because he needs a second job to pay his taxes to maintain his lavish lifestyle. - Brian McGarry always worked a two jobs and understands that when times get tough, you must sacrifice financially to get through those tough times, and he expects the government to do the same.
Brian McGarry represents the average Rotterdam resident. He's not an angry millionaire looking to help himself and his friends like decades before. He's not looking to hire his party bosses as as town attorneys. Brian has gone door to door, listening to the residents concerns. He's looking to make common sense decisions for the sake of everybody in the town.

Brian McGarry needs to attend the big debate tonight. This is lowly Rotterdam politics not the British Parliament. We can understand why FDG will not attend.
For McGarry to boycott is absurd. This is his one chance for mass communication. His stand against REP negative campaigning is admirable but not attemding only helps the current horrible incumbents. Please get back in the fight Mr. McGarry.
I don't agree Benny. Good for McGarry. What a courageous choice he made in the name of ethical behavior. The mudslinging from Parisi is an outrage and clearly shows he has NO understanding of what life was like for those folks in FDG's generation. Many couldn't continue in school because they needed to help support the family. Boycotting makes tremendous sense in standing up for justice. Can't wait to find out where Parisi got his law degree. I intend to write to the President of that law school. That is just another indication of what is wrong in Town Hall. There is so much incivility there that it permeates the air on Vinewood Ave. That is just why Surprise continues to exist despite all the unethical and rude behavior he exhibits. ST permits it . Good for McGarry--stand up for ethics. (and btw, we all know why Mortz isn't attending, he has already given up the ship.)
