WOW I don't pay alot attention to alledged polls, campaign strategies or for that matter debates, but I will say this, the wheels on the Tomassone bus must be coming off.  I am appalled at the personal attacks on a man's character, level of education and literacy.  I have said it before and will say it again, Joe Sigsnore, Jim Longo, Jack Denny former and present Republican candidates are blue collar workers.  They ran because they felt they could contribute.  WHAT THE HELL IS PARISI THINKING HERE?

The tone of this campaign has hit a new low, even by Rotterdam standards.  Mertz tried the same thing when Diane Marco beat him back in the early 2000's.  Mertzie essentially referred to her as a BLANK. I guess Tom and Gerry didn't learn from that blunder.  I know Mertz never did.

As far as McGarry being invited, my guess is that is why Frank declined.  A real debate includes all the candidates.  IMHO

Could not agree more with PDQ. There's a League debate and that's enough-why should Del Gallo who is way out in front agree to more Howdy Doody sponsored sandbags?

Speaking of lack of qualifications what business did Steve ever run? lol. Del Gallo is far more qualified for Supervisor-its an executive position. The dead enders can read a poll and realize the party is over. Give me a successful CONS businessman over a flop bureaucrat any day. As far as Deputy-abolish it-another waste of tax dollars.

And Cicero--seniors 85 are not from the boomer generation.  Get your facts straight.

I missed the part where you specifically said 85 years old. Oh...You didn't.  Still pandering.

How did Tommasone and the Republicans get re-elected if they haven't nominated somebody over the past 5 years?  It's not adding up.

Parisi is a bully who is afraid that his big bucks job is going to be gone.  His particular type of "lawyering" is what fuels the jokes.   "Uniquely unqualified" would be ST.  In another post I have given lots of reasons why he will go down as the worst supervisor.  Attacking Delgallo in this manner is abhorent to decent people.  For sure McGarry is doing a great job campaigning BUT I would not discount FDG.  You will be surprised how many people will back him because he doesn't have to open his mouth.  He has already shown that he can run business SUCCESSFULLY.  Parisi is a bully.  FDG don't engage in the debate.

Cal, perhaps Parisi is a bully on occasion....but he is dead on in this case. And everyone knows that fdg is not capable of having a debate 'of any kind' and is why he is being sheltered and protected from speaking. Cal, he isn't qualified by any stretch of the imagination. And you know that! Has anyone checked out his education record? Did he even graduate from HS?

And perhaps he does 'own' a business....but who ACTUALLY runs it? I'm not just throwing this stuff out here cal, cause it already IS out there!!! The dems should have done their homework before putting someone, who didn't even want it, in this position.

I see it as fdg misrepresenting his platform, IF he even has one, by not taking part in this debate! If fdg's supporters don't change direction, they will make fdg a laughing stock. SHAME ON THEM....and you!!!

VOTE MCGARRY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BumbleYou and I both know that when you start scrutinizing qualifications to hold public office, the BAR is at the same level for all.  For crissakes, Steve Tommasone has been fired twice from his full-time jobs, one at the bank and the politically appointed one he held in Albany.  If he is such a hot shot "CEO" why was he FIRED from both of them, lost 4 elections prior to his winning a special election and struggles mightly with the Supervisor's position?  His recent hand picked appointments have been dismal (Stan and Surprise), he allowed Parisi to go negative, he incresed spending ten fold, he incensed business owners and senior citizens with his assinine back billing edict.

Rotterdam has been destroyed by the dealings of the Parisi, Buchanan, Tomassone, Signore regime.  Even Mertz was dumped because he finally figured out what a bunch of lying thieves they are.  Wake up dude.  Its all over for the Tomassone charade.

A real debate includes all the candidates.

The major political bosses and candidates can disregard McGarry, but the voters won't on November 3rd.  Brian has
been campaigning tirelessly, criss-crossing the town and making campaign appearances.  He has visited with residents
living in many election districts multiple times.  I have gone door-to-door with Brian on many occasions.  He connects
with residents because he identifies with their concerns.  No one is working harder than he to win this election.

For those who haven't met him, contact him, meet with him, and talk with him.  We all need to disgard preconceived notions
and set aside the inane practice of voting along party lines.  Do some work to identify which candidates for elected office will best
serve the community and for the right reasons.

Elections have consequences.  Exercise your right and responsibility to participate in the democratic process as an informed voter.

You are avoiding the issues here pdg. Just like fdg is avoiding 'speaking'. That's what these nonsense political parties do.....knock the other party just to elevate their own.

The point pdq....is that knocking s.t. does NOT elevate fdg! It is what it is!

Mcgarry is clean, honest, smart, educated, conservative and is not in the ridiculous cross hairs of the dem/rep political fiasco. The dems and reps can part the red sea (left and right) to give clear sailing for mcgarry.

McGarry is by far the best choice. Where we disagree is on the second choice. We say anyone but Steve. Apparently BT hasn't had the same experience with Steve's Surprise as most residents. The town attorney is another concern. PDQ is right about horrible appointments and I could list many more.

Nobody cares how many degrees someone has. The greatest recent President, Ronald Reagan, only had a BA from an unknown college. Obama has an Ivy league degree and law degree-So?-he can't run a lemonaid stand.

Fran Del Gallo built a business up from nothing-what business has Steve built? How many jobs has Steve created? ZERO-He has destroyed jobs in this town. He has chased businesses away. The gig is up-Del Gallo is pulling away.

Bumble ~ you're right and you're wrong.  First, you're right that Parisi is a bully (that's kinda funny that a lightweight would be in any position to bully anyone ~ ha!), don't worry ~ things have a way of catching up with people.

AND ~ you're right about McGarry ~ he's the best choice this year (though, these guys better get it rolling).

BUT ~ you're wrong about FDG ~ Bill Gates never got a college degree did he?  Hmmm, I am not really impressed with someone's academic resume ~ until you show me what you can do with it.  Remember, this is a different time ~ years ago it was NOT a surprise that someone would go into the workforce, instead of college ~ does that make them less relevant?  Ask many of our seniors and Italian immigrants, you may be surprised with what you find.

Parisi is a joke.  Attacking Eunice and Fran is typical Gerry and Howdy Doody/Tommasone politics.  They should be a little more careful about attacking FDG ~ after all, many in the community worked hard to provide better lives for their kids and that’s a slap in the face of all those who put their kids first ~ speaking of which, wasn't it Gerry's father who built the Parisi law firm, all the hard work and dedication to the profession and it's not taking his son very long to ruin his reputation.

As for FDG ~ don’t bother with the debate.  Everyone knows that you are out on the doors every single day and night ~ answering the PEOPLE’S questions.  A canned debated is a mockery of a show when you have Tommasone putting everyone through verbal gymnastics ~ it’s almost like an entirely different language.

filipe, you like some others are so hell bent on destroying tom and jerry and parisi, that you will all put this town's future at stake.  Sure the reps need to clean house.....BUT IT IS CLEAR THAT HANDING IT OVER TO FDG WILL BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES THIS TOWN CAN MAKE!!!

Sounds desperate and pathetic Bumble.  I wonder how this election REALLY affects you at the end of the day.  Perhaps you will suffer somehow personally if Franny wins.  You really need to step back, breathe deep, click your heels and repeat after me..There's no place like home..there's no place like home.  Feel better?
