Today, Brian Stratton, Mayor of Schenectady, entered the "twittersphere" - using Twitter to do his own little blogging adventure.

In one of his first posts,

For those of you not familiar with URL shortening services   http://bit.ly/anIki   is a "short" redirect that the person (Stratton or his handlers) created via Twitter - it just makes the domain name as short as possible to save space on Twitter.

Another popular one would be   tinyurl.com

This is just too funny.  Isn't he l33t with his   "Hello Tweeps" comment - everyone's laughing, just thinking of him saying it.
