sometimes the people in the government the leaders, they need to do things to help the people and protectt them I know you repubs dont see it that way because you are all anarchists over here and that is why you will be the outlaw party soon

First Sal, I'm not a REBUB......not that it should really matter anyway!

Second, perhaps YOU need guidance from the government....but I don't! The only protection I need from the government is that they protect our boarders and our freedoms, which they are failing miserably at. There are many many more important issues that are being put on the back burner for this nonsense garbage.

Doesn't the govt have more to worry about than something so trivial?  Stay out of my life.

Trivial????? there is a gigantic mural in the distance called national healthcare.....they must 'put on their face' and look like they care
especially when yours/mine or anyone else's lab work comes back 'off' and they decide you get put on the 'bottom' of the list
due to non-conforming and cost reducing tactics......we WILL be 'marked'....who punches in with a BIOS ID????----pretty freakin'creepy

choice---ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

the only folks with 'choice' to afford the 'blackmarket stuff' will be those who's playground are in Colorado/their own island/their
own compound etc......the likes of Madonna, Paris hilton, clintons, bush, cheney etc etc.......

I agree Bumble, I'm sick and tired of having to follow stupid laws that make someone in the government feel good. If you don't want to eat trans-fat that's fine but don't force me to follow your dumb ideas and the government should stay out of peoples lives.

This is exactly the sentiment of many citizines regarding Pot- marijuana-

Trans fats have always been legal.

Trans fat ban unfair to small business people

As I read the May 8 article about trans fat ban, I thought, here we go again — the common person trying to make an honest living is getting the shaft.
“Big guns” Price Chopper and Freihofer’s do not have to stop using trans fat because they fall under state and/ or federal law. Aren’t these places in the same areas that little bakeries and restaurants are, or am I missing something?
I thought the trans fat ban was being done due to health issues. It’s a shame small bakeries and restaurants may have to go under because of this. I, for one, am sick of these big corporations taking over.
This country became great because of the ideas and dreams of the common person, but greed has taken over.
I, for one, will not be buying baked goods at Price Chopper or Friehofer’s; I will try and support the small bakeries. Welcome to the new America.
