When was the last time you sat down at the family dinner table and ate dinner with everyone?

When was the last time you took a casual Sunday afternoon drive?

When was the last time you had 10 or more neighbors and friends over for a backyard bbq or picnic?

When was the last time you checked in on an elderly neighbor?

When was the last time you called an old friend whom you haven't spoken to in a while?

When was the last time you took an alternate route to work, "just because"

When was the last time you sat down and read a book instead of watching TV or on "the net"?

When was the last time you helped a neighbor?

When was the last time you baked / cooked something and shared it with a neighbor? (pot luck)

When was the time you called mom/aunt/uncle/dad/grandparents, just to say hello?

When was the last time you planted a tree/flower/garden?

When was the last time you held a door open for someone at the market/post office/store?


Spring is here, flowers are in bloom, we're seeing neighbors we haven't seen in a while (snowbound, it was a long winter). Take time to smell the roses, kick off your shoes, do something nice for someone and take time for yourself. "The Good old days" don't have to be forgotten days - they will be only if we let them. Enjoy life folks, it's all too short - it's time to get back to our roots. Now get busy, you've got a lot to do I know you didn't answer "yesterday" to most of those questions
