This is a perfect example of why nobody watches the liberal news channels or the liberal radio stations because they just don't get the message or the story straight if it isn't about one of their far left views.

Funny isn't it, how cnn will cover gay marriage, obama's new dog but an event like this tea party protest, whether we agree or not.......does not get the coverage. Well, it appears that cnn just raised FOX's ratings.

I heard on the radio that a cnn reporter made the remark that there were hardly any blacks at these protests. SO WHAT?

See, here they go again.

1. This wasn't strictly aimed at Obama. This was aimed at every state Governor and local taxing authority to say "we've had enough dammit"

2. This was NEVER about race, until CNN brings it up.

3. Assault weapons, like in the CNN video are not what people are objecting to (for the most part). Regardless of what type of weapon, our constitution gave us the right to bear arms - it doesn't say "well, you can have this one, but not that one".

4. Barack Obama DID support the ban, sale and possession of handguns, if he wants to admit it or not.

Quoted Text
FactCheck: Yes, Obama endorsed Illinois handgun ban
Obama was being misleading when he denied that his handwriting had been on a document endorsing a state ban on the sale and possession of handguns in Illinois. Obama responded, “No, my writing wasn’t on that particular questionnaire. As I said, I have never favored an all-out ban on handguns.”

Actually, Obama’s writing was on the 1996 document, which was filed when Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. A Chicago nonprofit, Independent Voters of Illinois, had this question, and Obama took hard line:

35. Do you support state legislation to:
a. ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns? Yes.
b. ban assault weapons? Yes.
c. mandatory waiting periods and background checks? Yes.

Obama’s campaign said, “Sen. Obama didn’t fill out these state Senate questionnaires--a staffer did--and there are several answers that didn’t reflect his views then or now. He may have jotted some notes on the front page of the questionnaire, but some answers didn’t reflect his views.”

Quoted Text
Respect 2nd Amendment, but local gun bans ok
Q: You said recently, “I have no intention of taking away folks’ guns.” But you support the D.C. handgun ban, and you’ve said that it’s constitutional. How do you reconcile those two positions?

A: Because I think we have two conflicting traditions in this country. I think it’s important for us to recognize that we’ve got a tradition of handgun ownership and gun ownership generally. And a lot of law-abiding citizens use it for hunting, for sportsmanship, and for protecting their families. We also have a violence on the streets that is the result of illegal handgun usage. And so I think there is nothing wrong with a community saying we are going to take those illegal handguns off the streets. And cracking down on the various loopholes that exist in terms of background checks for children, the mentally ill. We can have reasonable, thoughtful gun control measure that I think respect the Second Amendment and people’s traditions.

The liberal media couldn't find an unbiased fact if they tripped on it. They are so far left that all they want to do is to protect the chosen one. In a few years when this country is bankrupt and our taxes are thru the roof will they still be protecting him like they are now or will they finally go back to reporting the real story, the truth.

So is this just a view of the future? First, if you are not in favor of the way the government is being run, and take part in a tea party protest, you are labeled a right wing extremist? What if you are against gay marriage? Abortion? Gun control? Immigration? Will everyone be considered a right wing extremist?

Sure there are right wing extremist, just like there are extremes in everything else. But will the above mentioned issues be considered extreme if you don't agree?

You already are considered a right wing extremist if you favor any of the things you mentioned Bumble.

I have a confession to make. I am a white male and was at the Albany tea party. Lock me up if you need to.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Don't you love how the "reporters" showed up to intimidate, heckle and belittle the tax day Americans who were exercising their constitutional right to assembly. Of course we have our own hecklers here and on the other blogs who would stick us all in prison like they do in the birthplaces of their ancestors.

MT thank you for those last two posts. It really tells the story. I happen to think conservatively, so I naturally favor FOX. And by the looks of it, most people are of a conservative mind since they all chose FOX over CNN.

To be 'fair and balanced'.....FOX is as conservative as CNN and the rest of the media is liberal. I don't know how much longer obama will be enjoying his media honeymoon. He is clearly killing their ratings.
