WASHINGTON – A Democratic official rebuked conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh on Friday for suggesting a health care proposal will be named in memory of Sen. Edward Kennedy, who is battling brain cancer. On his radio show, Limbaugh said President Barack Obama's proposed health care revisions will be championed by "the liberal lion Teddy Kennedy." "Before it's all over, it'll be called the Ted Kennedy Memorial Health Care bill," Limbaugh said. Brian Wolff, executive director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, called the remark outrageous and reprehensible. Limbaugh has been at the center of a partisan dispute since telling a conservative group last month that he hoped Obama's economic policies would fail. Democrats have accused Republicans of letting Limbaugh be their de facto leader, which GOP officials deny. Limbaugh did not respond immediately to a request for comment that was sent to the e-mail address provided on his Web site.
Anyone who knows anything about brain tumors knows Kennedy, sadly enough, is on borrowed time. That is what is called reality, not liberal fantasy and feel-goodism. Under the kind of system kennedy and Obama WANT in place, his treatment would have ended a long time ago and he would now be dead. period, end of story. Face the truth liberals, if you have the balls. But you never do.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Former House Majority leader Dick Armey told Newsmax in an exclusive interview Friday that he joins talk radio host Rush Limbaugh in hoping that President Obama’s efforts to impose a "nanny state" agenda on America will fail.
Asked if he agreed with Limbaugh’s controversial sentiments, Armey replied, "Well sure. I mean, who wants to see America [imitate] so many other nations that have gone down this primrose path of thinking government can be the nanny state and provider of all things?" [Editor's Note: See the Full Newsmax interview with Dick Armey - Go Here Now].
In fact, Armey said, "a great many Americans" agree with Limbaugh. But he went on to say that Limbaugh should have been "more circumspect and more judicious" in his choice of words, to avoid being misconstrued.
“A quick translation is: 'Rush says he wants the president to fail - Rush hates America,'" explained Armey, who was a chief architect of the Contract with America. "My only comment on Rush is, 'Rush, you know the rules of the game of political discourse well enough to have not walked yourself into that trap.' And by some inference, not to have walked some of us into that trap with him."
The 18-year House veteran also took strong exception to the anti-Limbaugh media campaign orchestrated in recent weeks out of the West Wing of the White House by Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Pundits have generally viewed that as a calculated effort to hurt Republican prospects with swing voters.
“Let’s say you’re the average American citizen," Armey told Newsmax. "The guy’s president of the United States. You’d say, 'I bet the guy has some real serious work to do.' But his chief of staff is what, operating as a political hack? Ronald Reagan did not let the political hacks in the White House. His point was very simple: ‘We’ve got serious work to do. People in this country who are good people have trusted us, and I’m not sitting here listening to a bunch of politics, let’s talk about policies.'"
For Obama to govern effectively on behalf of the people, Armey said, he needs to tell his staff: "'We don’t do politics here. This is where we do the nation’s work.’ And get the political hacks out of there. Bush had too many political hacks in the White House, and certainly Clinton politicized everything."
Armey tells Newsmax that he doesn’t expect that to happen because of what he calls two of the cardinal rules of politics: "Democrats perpetrate, and Democrats get away with it."
"So what you will see," Armey predicted, "is this president, to a greater degree [and] to a more harmful degree than the Clinton presidency, using the White House and the executive branch of government as a political instrument on behalf of his party. It will start with the next Census. It's already started. And the orthodox press will simply let them get away with it. They will broker no criticism of the man. It’s a fascinating thing."
Rush aside, can someone take a look at the language filter here? "Private Part" Armey is not exactly what I think is meant to be filtered here. Though it did give a different spin to the article...

This Eblah program comes with pre-censored words. "Dick" was one of them.
A radio personality proudly proclaims he hopes the president will fail. That’s the same as hoping the country will fail. It’s the same as hoping that in four years, the national economy and situations in Iraq and Afghanistan will be worse than they are now, that Iran and North Korea will be even more threatening to national security and global stability and that there will be neither jobs nor affordable health care upon graduation for the young adults who enter college this year. It means hoping that there will be more hungry and homeless Americans, turned away by the shelters and services that have been operating at or beyond capacity for the past several years. Most who opposed the war in Iraq still supported the troops and hoped for a successful mission. Most who thought George W. Bush wasn’t rightfully elected president still supported him and prayed for the best after 9/11. Hoping for failure is as unpatriotic now as it would have been then. Let’s all hope and pray for success now, regardless of our political affiliations or personal opinions. To do otherwise is mean, and we all know what the bumper sticker says about mean people.
Kathy you liberals are all alike and only tell half the truth. What was said was if Obama is going to pursue a socialist agenda and change our country for the worse then Rush hopes he fails. How about Carville saying he hoped Bush would fail the day b4 the twin towers were destroyed and the liberal press hid the remarks until recently. I'm not an Obama fan but sure hope that his administration can figure out a way to get people back to work and to get our economy back on track.
Kathy, Kathy, Kathy......if obama is leading this country toward big government, universal health care and bringing us closer to socialism....I too join Limbaugh and hope he and his administration fails at this attempt.

Re March 15 letter, “It’s unpatriotic for anyone to want Obama to fail”: I feel that Ms. Sanford may have been just a trifle harsh in attacking the patriotism of the critics of some of President Obama’s policies. Perhaps they support the president, but just oppose his policies — much as did the opponents of the Iraq war that she favorably cites, who support the soldiers but not their mission. Maybe she could view this from a new perspective, the once-ubiquitous bumper sticker, which says: “Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.”
Gee, it's unpatriotic to criticize Obama, but clearly it was ok to criticize Bush and Palin and McCain and every other conservative republican politician, huh? Don'tcha just love the liberal media? And they wonder why the are failing!
