If this forum exists for the exclusive pleasure of the "Forum Owner", and all those who post, must look away,
and avoid eye contact AND genuflect in the presence of the "FORUM OWNER, Then this site is nothing more
than a facist front for an egomanical and partisan entity.
Did I read the rules??

That being said...........I will submit............It is possible to ellicit genuine, intellectual debate through the use

MARS, this message board is my sandbox. Not yours. If you don't like it, I strongly suggest you start your own. And if you don't "play nice" you will be finding another sandbox to play in. I don't have the time or the patience for this nonsense. Got it?

Joann,

Thank you for your response to my post.
Although my post contained only TWELVE words, that were neither profane, nor desrespectful,.....
your return was quite sharp.
The phrase,,,,"the reaction is not in proportion to the act",,,,,seems quite appropriate.
"This is my sandbox???"
"If you don't like it , start your own???"
"Are ya kidden me???"

Just looking to post with some lively and humerous content.
Just so I know what the rules are,,,,,,,,,,I don't remember where in the "NEW RULES"  section,  it adressed
your time and patience pertaining to responding posts.............
Any assistance in helping me interpret the rules to your sandbox would be greatly appreciated...

Respectfully submitted

MARS

Play Nice??

Are we in some kind of,,,,,,,,, Stepford,,,,,,Logans Run,,,,,,,,,,kinda reality that only YOU decide what content we are allowed to read???????????

Is that what this is??????????
Is this forum a sham?????????
Is this not an objective, and  bipartisan, medium to exchange ideas and political ideaologies ???????

I thought that was what it was about.........maybe I was wrong..............
Maybe it was just about a little girl in a sandbox?
Maybe it's about that little girl that nobody played nice with?
Maybe its about how she never had patience with anyone?

Maybe it's why I printed every post page that I saw tonight........
Maybe I want Joann to post with me again..........

Tell me more about your sandbox Joann??

Walk with me...............................

Dark portrait of bombing suspect grows
Prosecutor says school official routinely used fear as tactic

By RYAN HUTCHINS, Staff writer
First published in print: Friday, February 27, 2009

The arrest of Schenectady school district official Steven C. Raucci in connection with a 2001 bombing has prompted fearful witnesses to call authorities saying they have information about the shadowy figure.

"I'm very concerned about the number of people who have called us, called the police agencies, and said to us, 'Look, we have information, but we don't even want to come forward if he's out,' " Schenectady County District Attorney Robert Carney said on a radio program Thursday morning. Carney made his comments on Paul Vandenburgh's WGDJ-1300 AM show.

Raucci, 60, is accused of first-degree arson in Rotterdam in a 2001 incident, as well as attempted arson and vandalism in Schodack. The Niskayuna resident is locked up at Rensselaer County jail without bail.

Since his arrest a week ago on a first-degree arson charge, and the discovery of a small explosive device in his office at Mont Pleasant Middle School, a portrait has begun to emerge.

It shows a man who'd grown up in a family involved both in organized crime and a murderous personal dispute. Carney painted him as someone who'd coveted power and sought to strike fear into the hearts of anyone who stood in the way of him, his associates or even his school and union.

"He has a more than 20-year history of intimidation and vandalism, and that's his pattern," Carney said on the Vandenburgh show.

On Thursday, the case against the suspended facilities manager and CSEA unit president for Schenectady schools grew darker. Carney said a Schenectady County grand jury has voted to indict Raucci on not-yet-disclosed counts. Meanwhile, Saratoga County District Attorney Jim Murphy said State Police charged Raucci with attaching an explosive to a car in Clifton Park and unsuccessfully trying to detonate it, using a cigarette as a fuse.

In the Clifton Park case, he faces charges of first-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree attempted arson, both felonies. Murphy said his office isn't disclosing the motive in that Nov. 30, 2006, incident, but believes Raucci's intent was to damage the vehicle not to harm anyone.

A law enforcement official close to the investigation said the motive was personal, and the crime was an act of retribution against the intended victim.

In addition to those counts, and the indictment regarding the Rotterdam incident, Raucci is accused of leaving another explosive at a home in Castleton-on-Hudson on Jan. 12, 2007, according to Schodack Police Chief Bernhard Peter. The bomb never went off, he said, but Raucci is accused of leaving the Simons Road home with $15,000 in damage by spray painting it with designs and derogatory words about his target.

Thursday, Carney told the Times Union that Raucci is under investigation in additional jurisdictions noting he may have been involved with crimes in Schenectady and Glenville.

Carney said State Police have told him that Raucci's brother had been connected to organized crime downstate, and that he killed himself rather than testify.....................http://timesunion.com/AspStori...../2009&TextPage=1

A number of police officers own homes on Shardon Court.
Both investigators and the homeowners believed the explosive device was likely left at the wrong home.

The gazette article is written in a way that leads people to believe that this guy intended the m80 for an officers house. I'm assuming that is why the gazette made a point of giving the street name and the fact that officers live there. What reason or motive  would this guy have to 'm80' a cop's front door?

No, I think B Gage is being sarcastic.  I believe Bum felt it was "FISHY".  Bum isn't a big cop supporter and it took a long time for ythe arrest,
thus the argument- if it wasn't a cop that was targeted- they would have closed the case.  Now if it was solved quickly- the argument would have been-
oh, they solved it quickly cuz a cop was a target. Bum felt it was fishy.

He didn't compliment the department that finally closed the book on decades of intimidation and terror.  He said...hmmmmmm  sounds fishy......

Listen, I'm a law enforcement supporter. I am not a union supporter. Any union. I think I have said that many times. I guess I'm just wondering how someone setting off an m80 on someone's door is assumed to have been ment for a cops. I never said I supported or was defending this guy. I never said that he was innocent or guilty.  It was just a simple question. No big whoop here.
